hey uh so I wanted to decide to do a 24-hour oneshot challenge because I knew I would never get this finished otherwise, buuutt I didn't do that lol.

Anyways I wanted to do the Witherstorm story from Petra's perspective, after she's rescued and after she can't remember anything.

Also I wanted to add more pretty descriptions don't @ me-

-

She's standing in the middle of a forest. The sky is a beautiful heather colour, the grass reflecting that, the trees purple and olive and hollow. The wind's picked up; she can smell it. Everything hurts.

People are running around her. Screaming. Yelling. One voice in particular is calling out. She cranes her neck. A hickory-brown horse gallops by, a few zombies and ocelots in tow. Her head feels like its about to split open.

Smells batter her nose, making her wrinkle it, and frogs and crickets chirp in the sticky pond.

What had happened here? Why was she so tired?

"GUYS! I'M OVER HE-" A female voice is abruptly cut off. She grimaces, walking towards the voice. She's in a forest, that seems to be heading towards twilight, but a swamp soon melts into the biome.
She steps through the muck of green-brown muck in a pond, through bull-rushes and lily-pads. Nothing seems right; the biome seems like it's normal so silent, but the screaming all around her is mismatched, not fitting well with the setting sun.

The voice is getting louder. There, near a small sloping up cliff; a girl there, and a small coral-coloured piglet. She has cherrywood-brown skin, with fern green armor and wavy hickory hair. She walks towards her; the girl appears to be floating.

"Help me!" She cries out, her voice staggering and rough. She quickly jumps up and catches the girl. They both fall to the ground. Instantly, the girl gasps, wrapping her arms widely around her. It sends confusion and a sore pain through her spine and shoulders.

"Petra! You're alive!" Her shoulders are wretched and held out as the girl stares at her, eyes now shining with tears. "I thought you were gone!"

Before she can ask if the girl means her, there's a monstrous ROOOOAAAAR across the landscape, sending birds flying wildly. All at once, a dark black horror rises above the treetops. It's three heads turn towards the two, bright magenta-purple eyes glowing, their mouth open wide revealing several jagged teeth.

"Run."
Her voice is rough and tired, like scratchy sandpaper, tearing her throat apart as she coughs, but she has to repeat herself over the noise.
"Run!"

The two book it past the swamp, through the forest, when they come to a small cliff. On the other side, she can see a small group consisting of a red-wearing darker-skinned girl, a bigger taller guy wearing green, a blonde, a yellow-orange haired man in tan and black attire, an older woman with a thin line for a mouth, and a diamond-clad man wearing armor.
Then, she stops.

Right there, in front of her, in the creature.
Staring right at her.

In one of its eyes, a sudden painful memory comes to her in the form of white hot pain along her skull and a cry out; being jostled around inside, falling and getting bruised everywhere, trying to fight it off...
Protecting someone.  Who was she protecting? It was so close, but she couldn't quite grasp it. Then she was back, and the creature was opening its wide mouth, roaring as it prepared to swallow her whole.

"PETRA! WE HAVE TO GO!" The girl's screaming, tugging on her sleeve, but she doesn't budge. As if in a dream, she mutters, "Who's Petra?"
