Extended Summary

Looks can be deceiving. Although appearing to be cheerful and upbeat, Marilyn Johnson has a dark side to her. Known to only a few people in her life, Marilyn carries a hidden secret within herself. A different person, living within her own body. A person that holds her body hostage as it uses it for its every need. This person is the exact opposite of her own self. 

An imposter in her own skin. With no name to put with this person, Marilyn has to ask for help. With no one else left to ask, she finds a stroke of luck when she is discovered by Dr. Abraham Erskine. With his help, she is able to tame the beast inside of her. But when life needs it, she reluctantly lets it out. However, with the help of a man named Steve Rogers, she doesn't need medicine to tame the other. 

Alongside Peggy Carter, Marilyn goes into the army to draft a hopeful recruit. What she didn't expect was that same recruit would soon bury himself into her heart.
