Oliver's POV

I watched this new Vocaloid as he walked out of the pod and look around his new home. Well, for what he could see of it. Almost hundreds of Vocaloids were crowding around the red head. But after he had enough of the attention, he started pushing through the Vocaloids ignoring their commentary on his looks. He is the most interesting Vocaloid I have seen yet. He is very unique. I saw him look around the room, but then his eyes lowered. He was looking into my own eyes. It was only until Miku wrapped her arm around his shoulder and walked off out of the crowd. The red haired boy turned every few seconds towards me to catch one more glimpse at me.

Why did he look at me? Oh well, I should head back to my private room to practice more. Maybe I get to talk to the red haired boy later. I start walking toward my room. I find my room and go inside to start playing the part of the song with the flute. 'Am I gay?' I thought as I played the flute. I mean, I don't even know if he can even speak English. I don't know how to speak Japanese. I should really teach myself, but what's the point if no one wants to talk to me anyway? I am what you would call and Engloid, but I am the first. Even so, I have never met another Engloid in Vocaloid.co. He probably speaks Japanese. It seems the most popular.

After practicing my music and uploading a few voice recordings, I decide to head out. I leave my things in the room and head out to find things I can do here. I normally don't go anywhere in Vocaloid.co other than the library. But Vocaloid.co has everything you could ever want, whatever keeps the Vocaloids happy. I lift my forearm up to my face and put my hand over it. After a few seconds, a white light appeared on my arm. I always thought that it looked like a phone appear on the surface of my skin. Phones are devices on the surface. But Vocaloid.co's technology is far more superior. This device is called a Docomo, or Softbank. But Vocaloids call them Techies, rather than their real name. They are installed into us, all of us. We use them like people on the surface use their phone, and tablets. We use the our Docomo for apps, music, and teleporting to different parts of Vocaloid.co. For music, you can play the song, and it would play in our eardrums automatically. People on the surface call us robots, but I beg to differ.

I swipe the Docomo a few times until I get to the Teleportation page. I scroll through the places to go, until I find the "Rolling Girl Cafe." Many of the places in Vocaloid.co are named after Hatsune Miku's music. I press the cafe and in the matter of half of a second, I was in front of the cafe. I look up at the sign and then walk in. I order a vanilla latte. I turned around to see the red haired boy sitting at a table alone with a book and a drink. I was about to drop my coffee, but tightened my grip before I could. I went to sit at a table next to his. Every once in a while I would sneak a peek at the red haired boy reading his book. I was about to again, until his eyes darted toward me. I quickly looked away and acted like nothing happened.

I looked back and saw that he was looking at me while smiling. Then he stood up and sat across from me at my table."Taking a picture would last longer you know." He said in a lively voice. My heart almost stopped. He speaks English? He's an engloid like me? "I-I didn't mean to stare." I said feeling my face flush. "Oh! Well it's alright! What's your name? I'm Fukase." He asked enthusiastically. "Oh! Well, I'm Oliver." I said starting to look down shyly. "I am starting to be able to hear you now, now that your not mumbling. I like your accent! It's very fluent! I'm glad someone here finally knows English as well as you do. I can't talk to anyone! Well, except you obviously." Fukase went off saying. I thought he was going to talk forever if I didn't cut him off. "Well, since I am an engloid, like you, I could show you around Vocaloid.co if you would like." I said. "I would love that!" Fukase said happily getting up out of his chair. I didn't realize he meant right now. But I got up to lead Fukase out of the cafe not minding.
