Althea

"Umm what in the world are you doing, Klaus?" I ask the boy who is standing in front of dad's ashes that was in a vase. "You know, if I was murdered and one of my sons- adopted sons happened to be able to commune with the dead, I might think about, I don't know, manifesting." Klaus says to dad's dust and turns to me with his arms spread out.

"The man is a coward, Klaus.. Maybe he doesn't want us to find out. What if the worlds ending." I tell him walking towards the bar. "Maybe I need the big ol'angry ghost lecture." He tells me frustrated. "Tell everyone who done it, and find eternal peace." He turns back at the man's picture. "He would tell you that you're wasting your potential before he really told you what really happen." I tell him making a drink. "Just think about it Klaus, what if the old man did this to bring us together because something was coming. Something big." I tell him with a straight face pointing a the man in the picture.

Klaus stares at me and goes back to ranting. "Eternal peace is probably overrated." He says "Wait. Are you saying dad killed himself?" He asked. "Maybe. I don't know. I'm probably over thinking." I tell him walking out of the room towards the stairs. He watches me as I leave. "Maybe you're the high one." He tells me once I am out of sight.

I walk back to my and Ben's room. I look at all of the pictures on the wall and just smile at the photos and memories that have been caught and saved. I sit down on my bed and stare at Ben's nicely made bad and sigh. I wonder what his spirit was doing and where he was. My thoughts were cut off by "I Think We're Alone Now" by Tiffany was playing. I stand up to look out the hallway to see no one there and close the door. I stand in the middle of my room and let the beat of the music take over.

My feet start tapping and I move my body weirdly all over the place. I start jumping around lightly and waving my arms in the air. I felt like I was back in the good old days when Luther would play this song after a mission we did well on to celebrate. This bastard knew how to be forgiven. This song was our weakness. I for one could not stay mad at Luther or anyone in this house for long, I was to forgiving. That was my weakness, forgiving too easily.

skskskks- Thunder nosies with blue lights going crazy- sksksksks

The music stops and I run out of the room downstairs to the courtyard to see everyone staring at the big blue ball of energy.

"What is it?" Vanya yells over the sound asking us. "Don't get too close." Allison says back. "Yeah, no shit." Diego says to Allison's obvious statement. "It looks like some sort of temporal anomaly. Either that or a black hole. One of the two." Luther finishes.

"It's the first one" I shout and everyone looks at me. "It's a time travel spacetime continuum." I finish up.

"Out of the way!" Klaus says running out of the house with a fire extinguisher. "What are you-" Luther was cut off with Klaus spraying the contents towards the hole showing a silhouette of a man. Klaus saw that what he did, didn't work and threw the extinguisher at the blue orb. "What a waste, Klaus." He looks at me. "Shut up, Althea. What ideas do you have?" He asks me "Sit here and wait who falls out of there." I tell him looking back at the spacetime continuum portal.

- Crackle -

Everyone jumps back, "Whoa, whoa, whoa." Says Luther holding his arms up to block us "Everyone get behind me."  Diego jumps in front of him "Yeah, get behind us!" Diego shouts. "I vote for running. C'mon!" Klaus says grabbing my arm. "You'll be fine, idiot." I snatch my arm back walking in front of Luther and Diego. "Althea, get back!" Luther shouts. I ignore them and watch as an old man pushes his face up against the wall that separates him from our time with his. He screams as he seems to go back to a little boy. The man child now falls onto the floor and the storm goes away as if nothing happens. I look at the boy who seems to look like- "Does anyone else see little number Five, or is that just me?" Klaus says  "Shit." Five says before looking at a shocked Althea. "Is that really you Five, or is this a sick joke?" I ask. Five runs towards her and wraps her in a tight hug. "Thank you." Five starts. "For what?" Althea asks clearly confused at the boy she hasn't seen in 17 years.

"For saving my life." Five says

BANG

Five slams a cutting board onto the dinner table and starts grabbing ingredients for a peanut butter marshmallow sandwich. "What's the date? The exact date." Five asks sighing. We all sit around the dinner table still confused on what just happened not too long ago. "The 24th." Vanya answers. "Of what?" "March." She breathes out. "Good."

"So, are we gonna talk about what just happened?" Luther asks as we all stare at him in amusement. Five lays down two slices of bread as we wait for him to answer. "It's been 17 years." I tell him.  Five scoffs "It's been longer than that."

Five walks towards Luther and vanishes and appears behind him digging in the cabinet. "I haven't missed that." Luther tells us. "Where'd you go any way?" Diego asks. "The future. It's shit, by the way." Five states. "Called it!" Klaus and I say looking at everyone and smile at each other.

"I should've listened to the old man." Five says. "You know, jumping though space is one thing, jumping though time is a toss of the dice." He looks up to Klaus. "Nice dress." He tells him. "Oh, well, danke!" Klaus says thankfully. "Wait, how did you get back?" Vanya asks. "In the end, I had to project my consciousness forward into a quantum state version of myself that exists across every possible instance of time." Five answers. "Makes sense." I tell him.

Diego looks at me then at Five, "That makes no sense." He tells him. "Well, it would if you were smarter." Five tells him. Diego stands up and Luther puts his arm out to stop him.

"How long were you there?" Luther asks

"Forty-five years. Give or take." Five tells him.

Luther and Diego look at him shocked before sitting back down. "So what are you saying? That you're 58?" I ask. "No, my consciousness is 58. Apparently my body is 13 again." Five says putting his sandwich together. "Wait, how does that even work?" Vanya asking curios. "Deloris and Althea kept saying the equations were off. Eh." Five says as if it wasn't a big deal.

"Bet they're laughing now." He says taking a bite of his sandwich. "Deloris?" Vanya questions. "Althea?" Allison says confused looking at me for answers. I give her a shocked shrug and look back at Five who doges the questions.

"Hmm. Guess I missed the funeral." Five states. "How'd you know about that?" Luther asks "What part of the future do you not understand?" Five asks. "Heart failure. huh." Five says.

"Yeah."

"No."

Luther and Diego both answer. "Hmm. Nice to see thing's haven't changed.Five starts to walk out of the dinning room with his sandwich. "That's it. That's all you have to say?" Allison ask astonished.

"What else is there to say?" He continues to walk out

"The circle of life."

"Well." Luther says taking in the information he's been given. They all look over at me. I am still wondering about why he said thank you for saving his life. Was I with him? Who's Deloris? Why is Diego dumb?

I stand up and push in my chair before leaving the room with a lot on my mind. I was just confused and wanted to have my questions answered. "That was interesting." Luther says as I walk out.

I walk back towards my room passing by Five's room seeing he was looking for a new outfit. "Ah, shit." He says grabbing the old Umbrella Academy uniform. As he starts to change I walk  to my room and close the door to calm down before we start the little gathering for dad.
