The scene Pete and I are about to have is me just talking to him and saying he has to work late. Everyone has been acting weirder today which is weird but it's usual.

" AND ACTION! " Russell screams. I turn into his office turning towards him.
" Have you been wearing that all day? " He asks looking at me.
" Yes. Dad I left wearing this, this morning. You legit said he looked nice, " I tell him going over to his desk and leaning onto it. " Watcha grading? " I ask.
" Papers, " he says looking at me.
" You're no fun. Plus are we going to have a movie night tonight? " I ask.
" Not tonight, and I know it's sort notice but could you get a ride home? I have to work late tonight, " he says. I groan a little bit straightening up.
" Yeah, I can probably ask Mason, " I tell him. I look at my phone to see a text from Brett.

I grin a little bit. " And who are you texting? " He asks.
" No one, " I him. " Can I go out tonight? " I ask.
" Yes just be home by 1, " he tells me.
" Thanks dad. I love you see you tonight, " I tell him giving him a hug.
" I think you have a visitor, " he says. That's not scripted. I turn around to see Cody on one knee.
