Quidditch team

I smirked at Harry and I could tell he was annoyed. I turned back around and once again the Slytherins were laughing. I finally realised how similar I was to the rest of them. Once we had finally reached the ground, I saw Professor Snape and Professor McGonagall. That both shouted to follow them. "This is all your fault Potter," I said to Harry, mimicking Draco, and chuckling to myself. He looked at my confused since he realised I called him by our last name.

After some time of walking me and Harry split off. I went with Professor Snape. We headed towards the dungeons and into one of the classrooms. "Please, could I borrow Flint for a second, professor?" Snape asked. He got up and headed towards us. "I have found Slytherin a new seeker" Snape spoke in his monotone voice. Flint just smirked at me.

We went to the Quidditch field and Flint was explaining the basics of the game. The Slytherin house all thought that there is no point to talk about something so we decided practising immediately. We went straight to one side of the pitch. "first one to the other side wins" he said whilst setting off.

I chased after him and overtook him. I reached the opposite side 5 seconds before Flint did. He justed stared at me and laughed.

"and you said you hadn't ridden a broom before" he both started laughing. After a couple of hours of training, we decided to go back to the common rooms. He mentioned waking up early tomorrow for Quidditch practice with the team.

I agreed and went back into the changing rooms and quickly got changed into more confortable clothes.

I walked into the common room and everyone went silent. I walked towards Draco and sat down next to him. "You will never guess what," I said enthusiastically "I got on the Quidditch team and I'm a seeker." Draco stared at me with a shocked expression. I just laughed.

I decided that since I needed to be up early tomorrow that I would probably get to bed. I went back upstairs and got changed into my pyjamas.

I went to go and do my facial routine and saw that I had lilac eyes again. I knew I couldn't be imagining it again. I steadied my breathing and finally looked back. They were e/c again. What was happening to me?

I woke up the next morning with bags under my eyes and decided to get ready for this morning. Flint said because it was so early, I didn't have to wear my uniform so I wore what I thought was comfortable, which consisted of a hoodie and joggers.

I decided not to wear any makeup except for mascara since I knew I would have to redo it anyway a bit later on.

I got to the common room and the entire team was down there waiting for me. Once I arrived, we headed down to the Quidditch pitch and started training. I had caught the snitch in roughly 5 minutes. If I played like that on Saturday, we would definitely take the trophy for Slytherin.

Once training had ended I decided to head back to the dorms to get ready for breakfast. I got changed then did my hair and makeup. I decided to go for a natural makeup look and space buns for my hairstyle today.

I looked in the mirror and was happy with how I looked. I walked down to the common room and then down to the great hall. Boys on all 4 of the tables turned around and looked at me. I looked up to see Harry looking at me amazed. I sat down by Draco who was also staring at me. I smiled at him and awkwardly looked down. Slowly conversations started to fill the hall again.

"Wow, you look amazing" someone from the other side of the Slytherin table said to me. I chuckled for a second. I got some fruit on my plate but just played with it instead of actually eating it. There it was awkward silence between our friendship group again until I looked up and still saw Draco staring at me "Are you okay..." I asked Draco.

He just nodded. I looked at Crabbe who was laughing to himself. I found his laugh very contagious and I started laughing. "Stoop," I said to Crabbe in the middle of laughing. "anyway it's time for potions" I smiled.

In potions, we were making amortentia, a love potion (shhh pretend). I found it very funny, I and Draco was the first pair to finish. We were asked what it smelt like to us. I said it smelt like cinnamon and nature. Draco said it smelt like freshly baked bread. After some time everyone was finished or had given up. The class was dismissed.

"Professor, I need to ask you something," I asked Snape. He looked at me confused.
"go on..." he replied.

"what does it mean when someone's eye colour changes from one colour to another in minutes?" I asked him curiously.

"well it could mean many things, why, have you seen someones who has"

"kinda" I replied.

"who is it and I will be sure to talk to them" I just looked down and sighed.

"well... Ummm. Me I think" He looked shocked and worried. I told him all about the time with Draco and the time in the dorms. He just listened.

"meet me here at 8 pm here tonight" he directed.

I nodded my head and smiled. I knew we can a free period now so I just went and sat by the lake and became surrounded by thoughts.

I must have sat there for about 30 minutes just staring into space. I didn't even realise that someone had sat next to me. "Hey, are you okay?" Harry had asked.

"What?" I asked confused.

"I just asked if you were okay"

"yeah, in fine just zoning out a bit" I smiled, "lost in my thoughts you know"

"Well you know I hate to be the one to break your thinking moments but it's the end of your free period."

"Oh okay, thanks, I would have been sat all day thinking if you didn't tell me" we both laughed. We walked to potions together.

"Did you get on the quidditch team?" I asked him and he nodded, asking me the same thing, "yeah I did too, seeker?"

"Yep," he said as we were arriving to the classroom door.

"Well good luck for the match," I said walking away from him.
