First lunch in days

(MENTION OF SELF HARM)

After studying for a while, I decided to go down to the great hall. Everyone was already there. I walked up to my year's group and sat down. Everyone looked at me. "hey guys," I said awkwardly. And we sat there in silence for a few minutes.

"and where have you been" Blaise wondered, breaking the silence.

" well I was at herbology on Wednesday and then I had to walk out and I passed out or something and then about an hour ago, I woke up in the hospital" I said trying not to ramble. They all look suspicious but I mean I should've expected it.

"do you really expect us to believe you, that means you were out 49 hours," Draco said whilst I sighed.

I whispered a yes inaudible and looked down. I got a ham sandwich and played with it for a second until I decided to walk out. Harry saw me and chased after me. I ran as fast as I could towards the lake until I lost him. I sat down and decided to start running again. I hadn't been on a run since last summer and I forgot how good it felt.

As I begin running, I began to run faster than I ever had before. I fell but caught myself in a forward roll. I realised I had potions with Snape. I headed down to potions and into the potions classroom. Nobody else was here except Snape. I sat down in my seat and just waited. Everyone slowly appeared through the door and took their seats. We were making veritaserum, a truth potion.

As Draco sat down next to me, he mumbled liar under his breath. I looked at Snape. "ms. Potter, could you please come to me" I got up and walked towards him. "your eyes" he whispered to me. I sighed again holding my head in my hand.

"Could I go to the bathroom and try to sort them," I turned to head to the door. He nodded so I walked away making sure not to look at everyone.

I went towards the bathroom but I saw that they were a blood red. I waited for them to turn back until I went back to potions.

As I opened the door and walked inside, I smiled at Snape. I took my seat "what was all that about?" Draco hissed. I decided whether or not to tell him before I decided that was a stupid decision.

"like you care" I answered knowing that I couldn't tell him.

The lesson was quickly over and I decided to go back to the common room. I laid there for what seemed like hours. Until I heard laughter. It was Crabbe, Goyle and Draco. They stopped as they saw me. I just got up and moved to the dorms. I knew I had forgotten something, it was my book. The book looked like a regular book yet the front cover opened and had a secret compartment. I ran downstairs to find Draco looking at my blade I hid in the book. He looked over at me with a confused look on his face. I stood there for a couple of seconds.

I began running up the stairs. "show me your arms" he sounded actually concerned.

"what?" I asked unsure whether he was talking to me.

"show me your arms" he started walking over to me.

I took a step back. He grabbed my arm. He started to roll up my sleeve, revealing all the scars. He just looked up at me. I pulled my arm back and my sleeve back down. I ran back up the stairs. "I'm so stupid, I'm so f*cking stupid!" I shouted.

By the time all of this had happened, it was time to go down to the great hall. I redid my makeup since my mascara had leaked down my face. Once I had finished it, I went to the great hall and sat as far away from them as possible to not show my emotions. I sat with some 2nd years and they sounded like they actually cared about me. I knew they didn't though. The entire meal Draco was looking at me. He had obviously noticed I wasn't eating. I didn't care, I would have only thrown it up anyway. About 5 minutes before the meal ends, Draco asked if he could talk to me. I knew what this was about, I wasn't looking forward to it. We walked outside on the hall and onto the corridor.

"look I don't know what's going on with you but I just want you to know that I'm always here for to no matter what," Draco said.

"Yeah alright" I said before noticing how sarcastic that sounded.

"you don't know how much I... We all care about you"

"you were the ones who didn't believe me I did and was passed out," it was the only thing I could come up with.

"wait you actually did?" He asked.

"Yes, yes I did" I replied.

"well I'm sorry" he said.

"it's okay I guess" I said.

"now you need to eat" he said.

"I'm not hungry " I said.

"you still need to eat" I said.

"no"

"yes"

"no"

"yes"

"fine" I gave up arguing.

We went back to the hall and say down. I had bangers and mash. I ate one sausage and was full. " I can't eat anymore"

"you've literally eaten one sausage" before laughing at himself.

I could feel myself about to throw up. "no I've not" I ran out of the hall and into the girl's bathroom. I threw up more than just a sausage. Where had this other food come from? I walked out of the bathroom. Draco was waiting outside. "Hey"

"I guess that sausage didn't go well"

We both burst out laughing. "oh shi-oot, I've got Quidditch, I'll see you later, in the common room may be" I said.

"Of course, I'll be waiting" he said.

I walked over to the main hall doors and the team was there. We set off towards the Quidditch pitch and practices for two hours. We improved a lot. We found a better formation so we could definitely win the game tomorrow morning.

We decided it was getting late and to go back to the common room. "Hey Draco"
