Vanessa vs. Draco

We walked back into the room and we sat down at the table "sorry about that" I smiled at Draco as the food appeared at the table. I got some Pork, Sweetcorn and potatoes.
I looked down at my food and imaged me being able to eat it.

Everyone had started eating, my father nudged me to start eating too. My hands were shaking and Draco saw this. I took a few breaths and ate a fork full of sweetcorn. I turned to my father and looked at him.

My occlumency happened again. I saw another memory but just shut my eyes, I opened them again and I was back at the table "sorry" I said to my father as I looked down. I tried a potato and started going dizzy. "Please excuse me"

I got up and ran out of the kitchen. I ran to the bathroom and threw up. "I need to stop this" I chuckled to myself.

I went back downstairs "I'm so sorry for that it just I was going to-" I said.

"Dear, it's fine" Mrs Malfoy said. I smiled at her in sympathy.

I looked at Draco who was looking at me confused. I looked away and knew my eyes had changed. I took a few deep breaths and relaxed. Everyone had finished so we went into the living area and sat down in there. "Dear, could I talk to you" Mrs Malfoy asked.

"Of course" I said.

I got up and we went into my bedroom together. "Are you okay" she asked.

"Yes I'm fine, I started to feel dizzy and light headed during dinner so I went outside to get some air" I said.

"Okay, I just want you to know you can talk to me about everything." She said.

"Thank you Narcissa, I will do" I said.

She smiled at me. "Your eyes are really pretty you know" I complimented.

"Thank you Vanessa" she said.

The door opened and Bella came running into my bedroom, "Hello Mrs" I said. She barked. "Don't bark at me young lady" we both laughed and walked back down to join the boys.

We walked in and I sat next to Draco and Bella jumped onto my knees. "So Vanessa, tell me about yourself" Mr Malfoy said.

"Well I-My strongest subject at Hogwarts is Potions but I'm also quite good at Charms and... I'm on the quidditch team" I said.

"Ah yes I heard about your seeking skills... and the speed you can do on a broom" he said.

"Yes I am quite fast on a broom" I chuckled.

"Do you want to have a challenge" he said.

"Sure" I said.

"Race Draco, if you win you get to have a sleep over tonight here with Draco if it's okay with your father and if Draco wins he gets to ask you  10 questions about you and you will use the truth potion" he said.

"Sure" I said.

My father shouted "NO, YOU WILL NOT RACE"

"Father it's fine" I said. 

He took a deep breath "Okay"

We walked outside and we got on nimbus 2000s. "3...2...1... go" I said.

Draco set off at the 2, but I still won. "Cheating doesn't get you far" I hugged him "Good game"

He hugged be back "you too"

We pulled away and both blushed. Bella ran up to me "Hello cutie, did you see me win" she barked in response. I looked at Draco and we was just laughing, "race you back to our parents, on foot"

"Fine" he said.

"Go" I said.

I chased after him and over took him and sprinted over to them. I got there about 5 seconds before Draco. He was on the floor gasping for air, whilst I was perfectly fine. Once he caught his breath back, he asked how I ran that fast. "I'm not sure" I said.

"Does that mean Draco's staying over tonight?" I said.

"That was the deal" he said.

I hugged Draco. I grabbed his hand and pulled him into my room with Bella chasing after us. We got back inside he manor and we ran to my room. "I love your room" he said.

"Thanks" I said.

All that night, we played truth or dare... it was his idea. I had too many secrets I was hiding and needed to be remained hidden so I had to pick dare every time. "You Really don't want me to know anything about you do you?" He said.

"Alright truth" I said and he laughed.

"Who do you like?" He said.

I took a sip of the truth potion and waited for it to work "nobody at the moment" I said.

A smile grew on his face, I just looked down. Bella ran into my bedroom, "Oh I have an idea" I said.

"What" he asked.

"We should make Snowy and Bella meet" I said.

"Who's snowy" he asked.

"My kitty" I said.

Snowy was already sat on my bed. I picked Bella up and placed her next to snowy. Bella went over to her and licked her but Snowy didn't react.

Me and Draco smiled at each other. It had worked.

For the rest of the night we just watched movies. I got changed into my pjs whilst he got changed in he bathroom. I got changed into a hoodie and joggers. Through out the night me and Draco had become closer. We weren't dating but we snuggled in bed together.

I woke up the next morning and I got changed. It was surprisingly sunny and I got changed into a crop too, black ripped jeans and fish net tights.

I woke Draco up and we went downstairs to get breakfast. "Vanessa" my dad shouted.

"Yes father" I said.

"What are you wearing?" He said.

"What?" I asked.

"Go and get something more presentable on"
I sighed and walked back into the kitchen. "I'll be back down in a while, I need to get changed"

"Okay see you then" he winked at me as I walked away and laughed.

Instead of what I was wearing I put on a playsuit. I also did my makeup so I wouldn't have to do it later on.

I looked in the mirror one final time and walked downstairs. "Good morning again" I said.

"You look cute" he said.

"aw thanks" I chuckled.

There was a knock on the door. I got up to go and answer it. "Hello Mr Malfoy come in, Draco's just having breakfast." I said.

"Thank you Vanessa" he said.

We walked into the kitchen and I saw back down at the table. "Severus please could I speak to you" My dad nodded and stood up to go out of the room.

After a while they came back into the room "Vanessa, Draco, we have some news"
