So we did a Socratic seminar in our language arts class today.
No wonder why what happened happened

I am a very outgoing, talkative person. But, at the Socratic seminar i didn't talk once. I tried to talk, then someone interrupted me. Later after, my teacher was asking about some things that could have been better. Kids started talking about how other kids could've (basically not really quoting) shut up so I could talk. It took me all i could do not to burst into tears, our partners were taking notes on stuff like if they asked questions, looking at the speaker, responding to questions, interrupting other people, side conversations and I only had marks for looking at the speaker because I didn't shucking talk once. My teacher said it was fine, and I was just reading a quote from my book over and over off the wall to calm myself down.
And get this! One kid said he didn't talk much but he kept cutting me off! I am so PISSED OFF!
