It was already dark, the brothers was coming home after they went into a fight with Hake and meeting that old man; he didn't even told them what happened to Mr. Rey last night. But he fixed Jerald and Hake's faces before he told them to go home.
"We're in so much trouble!" Vict exclaimed, while walking back home arguing with his brother.
"Just relax, Vict! It's gonna be fine!" Jerald rolled his eyes.
"FINE? YOU ARE NUTS! You don't even know what you're doing! Cheeses Jerald, you could've ended up killing him! Now, look at you! Gladly, that old man or whoever that is, helped you."
Rald's forehead was covered with bandage, where the blood comes out. Aunt Cala or Uncle Eduard or their siblings might asked them when they get home.
When they got home, Aunt Cala was asking them where they've been, and asked what happened to Rald, Jerald confessed what happened. Luckily, they didn't get themselves into trouble but told them to stay away from their bullies.
The next morning, Jerald was running and went to the fields without his brother where him and Hake went a fight yesterday. He was finding the old man that he just met, but he didn't even got his name yet. Rald wanted to ask him about Mr. Rey, and asked him if he knows anything about the creature he heard.
Jerald looked around the fields, searching for the old man. He didn't spot him around in the distance. Rald walked far somewhere in the fields to find him, but still he didn't see him. Where could he be? Jerald tried to search for the old man everywhere. Nevertheless, still there's no luck. Rald decided to go back home to pick up Victor to help him find the old man.
In their village, he saw Victor looking around asking the people if they see his brother around.
"VICT!" Rald called his brother in the distance.
"OI!" Victor called back.
"Come, I need your help." Jerald grabbed him by the hand, heading towards the open land.
"Jerald, what are you up to?" Vict asked.
"Shush Victor, we're finding someone." Rald said.
The brothers had already arrived at the open land where they met the random old man yesterday. Rald told his brother to help him find him.
"Are you crazy? We don't even know him! Why don't we ask the elders in our village for help? It could be Uncle Ed or Aunt Cala! They might know what to do." Victor said.
"No Vict, let's find that man first! And ask him if he knows everything about that stupid furry creature or whatever that is. First of all, how did he know about Mr. Rey's death? He didn't told us about him yesterday, except he only told us to go home!" Jerald said. Victor was in silence, thinking to help his brother.
The brothers searches for the old man, going here, and there. They looked everywhere, but no signs of him. Victor was getting tired finding him, except his determined brother.
"C'mon Vict, for the last time, let's find him." Jerald told his brother.
"Are you sure this is working? He might be dead or something... We've been looking for him everywhere! Maybe he's already six feet under." Victor said, walking next to his brother.
"Shush Vict! I think I saw something."
"What?"
Jerald squinted his eyes in the distance, focusing his view in the open land.
"Goodness!" Jerald cried. "There he is!"
The boys ran throughout the fields approaching for the old man.
"Thank goodness, we finally found you!" Jerald relieved. The old man was confused.
"Aren't you... the boy I saw yesterday?" The old man asked Jerald
"Yep, that was me." He replied immediately.
"Oh, I see." the old man said. "Anyway, how did you find me? Need anything?"
"Oh yes. We just came here to---" Vict was interrupted.
"First of all, my name's Jerald, and this is my brother Victor." Jerald introduced himself and his brother to the old man.
The old man looked at them. The boys noticed the old man was holding a gun, AK-47, a kind of machine gun. They were wondering what's the old man doing with it.
"Well, hi then, Jerald and Victor. What are you two doing here?"
"We just came here to meet you. What's yo-your name? " Jerald said.
"Well then, I'm Mr. Kent." the old man answered.
Then, there was a pause.
"Is that what you wanted to know?" Mr. Kent said.
