** Two Days Later **

Niall's P.O.V.

"I think you can leave this afternoon, Mr. Horan." The doctor told me. Relief flooded through me. I can finally leave these damn four walls.

"Yes! Thank you so much, Doc." I told him, shaking his hand with my good arm. I was sitting on the side of my bed. I was alone in the room when the Doctor left. I think everyone else was in the cafeteria. I was genuinely and totally jealous. I slipped on some of my faded jeans. I cannot be in this hospital gown any longer. I was attempting to slip on a t-shirt when I heard the door open. My arm was stuck halfway up and my shirt was half on. So I was half-naked.

"Niall...?" Someone asked. I couldn't see who it was but I could recognize that voice from anywhere.

"Hey Haddie..." I said nonchalantly, as if my shirt wasn't stuck over my head. I heard her giggle and she walked over to me. She yanked it off the top of my head. I met her eyes and smiled, my face flushing.

"Let's try a button down shirt, yeah?" She asked with a smirk. I nodded in agreement. I watched her rummage through the make-shift pile of clothes Danielle and Liam brought me when they made a quick trip back to the cabin to get essentials. She returned to me holding up a pale blue button down shirt.

I watched as Haddie focused on slowly manipulating my shoulder brace. A smile started to creep up on my lips as I watched how determined she was. She was careful too; gentle to the touch. She began to slowly do the buttons. She met my eyes at the last button and started to smile.

"Why are you staring at me like that?" She asked, blushing. I just looked away, laughing myself. When I met her eyes again we both were smiling.

"Nothing." I told her. She turned away and walked back to the door.

"We're all in the cafeteria. The doctor said you can leave this afternoon right?" Haddie asked turning back to face me. I nodded, my smile not fading. "Good. I'll go tell the others."

"Hey I'll come with." I said taking a few steps towards her and the door. She put a gentle hand on my chest.

"Oh no you won't." She told me, a playful smirk and an interesting twinkle in her eye. It made me start to smile more. "You still need to rest. Call the nurse if you want any food." She pushed me with her finger hard and I took a step back. "I'll be back soon." With that she disappeared behind the door. I watched her walk away through the little window.

Haddie and I hadn't done much...sensual things since I had woken up. There was still a lot of sexual tension between us but we hadn't done anything about it. I'm embarrassed to say I tried to make another move on her when we were alone recently but she stopped me. She said she didn't want to do anything until she remembers what happened and why she 'feels this way'--her words, not mine. I've tried to tell her everything but she says she's 'not ready'. I don't understand anything but I'm willing to give her time.

The doctors don't understand why she has memory loss and I do not, but they've given her some pills that are supposed to work and she was discharged this morning. 5 pm cannot come any faster for me.

As soon as I had woken up I called my mum and told her to cancel all flights she may have booked. She was reluctant but finally did. I assured her I was perfectly fine and I'd probably be back real soon anyways. No need to spend money on plane tickets if they weren't necessary. So instead, I had to call her every two hours. Small price to pay but everything will be fine.

We talked to Paul about everything and he set me up to decide whether or not we should continue with the tour or cut out the final two dates. Everything was set on my decision. We already had to cancel two venues because of the Lake House trip and because of the accident. I'm sure I would be fine to finish the two dates even though my collar bone and ribs hurt like hell. I'd just have to take it easy, and it's not like we have some huge dance routine anyways.
