Chapter 6- The Preparation

3 months later......

Oh my glob! It's the Christmas Ball the day after tomorrow!!! What's that? I text Daniella and ask what that's about.

"Hey ,Shailee. The Christmas Ball is like prom but during Christmas.."

"So. Do we need dates?"

"Of Course!"

"Why?"

"No one will ask me out."

Who! Anyways, these past few months I have been teased to the bones. I hate Finn...well his attitude. I watch their vids on Jacksgap still tho. I wore a Jacksgap shirt to uni once...let's just say it didn't end well.

I love this shirt so much. Should I wear it? I think Finn'll tease me again. Ugh! Such a jugdemental freak of nature. I'll wear it. Jack'll be happy right? I wear my favorite Jacksgap merch and get to my car. I drive to school and it's still 11:30.

I go to my locker and enter my passcode. I put my bag in and get my purse with my books. Heavy purse indeed. I walk to the basketball court to talk to the coach about practices and then I see Finn and Jack with their "crowd". I just ignore and continue to walk towards the coach.

I hear chuckles and they sound so familiar I wanna barf. I turn around to see Finn and his crowd laughing and pointing at me. Jack isn't he's smiling which means he likes my shirt.

"Hahahahaha! Do you really think if you wear that shirt, I'll like you?"

"Not really."

"Well you thought right."

"Ok."

"Gonna cry?"

"No! Why the hell would I cry because of that?"

"Right."

Hmph! Why is he kinder in videos? Maybe he's just a good actor or he hates me!

I text Jack.

"Jack, why does your brother hate me soo much?"

"I'll ask."

"Crap."

"He said it's a secret and he'll only tell you at the Christmas Ball."

"Double crap. My dress! I haven't bought one!"

"Hey! The ball is still on Saturday and they gave us a week to reply! You haven't bought a dress."

"Well, Im sorry."

"Wanna meet in Simoné?"

"Yeah. In 10."

"Ok."

I wear my London crop-top with shorts and Vans. I lock my flat and go down the escalator and hop into my car. I drive off to the mall. I get there on time but apparently Jack's late again. He's always late to our hangouts.

Ugh! I start to look around and I see several dresses I like. I put them in the cart and after 30 minutes, my bestie finally arrives, Jack. I'm besties with Jack not Finn.

"Hey, Shailee."

"Late. Again. Why. This. Time."

"Because Finn was blocking my car in the driveway."

"Again? Does he really hate me that much?!"

"I guess."

"I can't wait for the ball tho I don't have dress or date."

"One of my friends are asking you to the ball."

"Who?! Jack! Uhm. Justin? Marcus? Jim? Casper? John? Jeremy? Jack! Who?!"

"Can't spoil it for him sorry. Can we just shop now?"

"Fine!"

I bring the clothes to the dressing room for fitting and I asked Jack for his opinions as well. I buy this very chic dress that's dark blue. Now I gotta buy me some shoes. Me and Jack head to Paymore and go to the heel area.

We get me these 4-5 inch heels with rhinestones and we head to the foodcourt. I order a bucket of chicken from the Chicken Frenzy and fries from Fry-day. We sit at a table and gobble up our food. we finsh by 9:30 and I take the bucket of left-overs to my flat.

Jack stayed for a bit and played xbox with me and we collabed. He left at 12am and after I lead him to the door, I took a shower and headed to my bed. I watched a little of E!News and then I slept.
