Chapter 9- Lé Ballé

The ball starts at 5pm. Hmmm. What should I do before le partayyy? First of all I should eat. Its 11am so its almost lunch. Shailene would you fancy a brunch? Yes of course Shailene. Man.

I head to my kitchen and prepare a ham and cheese omelet with a croissant. I put my plate on the counter when all of a sudden I heard a slam. I got my table knife and slowly walked to where the noise came from.

"Uhmmm.. Shailene why are you holding a knife....table knife?"

"Oh Jack I forgot you were here. I thought it was someone else."

"Well could you put le knife down cause you tend to get clumsy and you might drop it on my foot :)"

"Right. So what do you want for breakfast? I have omelet and croissant."

"Yeah sounds good."

We head to the kitchen and he sits on the counter chair. After 10 minutes, I finish preparing my masters food.

"Mmmmm.... This is good. Have you taken lessons?"

"Nah I watch cooking shows."

"Well eat too. I feel like a boss."

"Yeah sure."

We eat and chat about stuff....

"Jack what do you want for your birthday?"

"A unicorn..."

.....for about half an hour. After that we headed to our rooms because we decided to go out first before the ball since its 5 hours from now. We got into my car because duh. We head to Mallkie. Its the new mall that opened last week. We walked around and snacked every now and then. I bought some shirts and he bought some shades.

At 3pm we decided to get back to the flat and dress up. I put light makeup and curled my hair. I got into my dress and put my accessories on. I put on my shoes and stayed in my room a bit. I tweeted, "Ready..." I walked outside and sat on the sofa waiting for Jack. Man that guy takes longer than a girl. Its been 20 minutes. Ughhh.

"Oh hey sorry I took long. I couldnt find my tie."

"Right. Your tie. I believe that."

"You look good in that dress. It brings out your eyes."

"Wow thanks. Thats what a girl would say. I like your suit too."

We locked the flat and got into my car. We drove off while singing along to Cecilia by The Vamps. Im a vampette ok. I love musiccccc. Its life. We got to the venue a good 30 minutes early.

Jack and I registered and went in the ballroom. Jack decided to say hi to his brother. I watched him as he walked over to his brother who was wearing the same thing as him except his inner shirt is a bit off white. I decided to hunt down Daniella.

I spotted her at the punch table. I walked over to her and hugged her by surprise. I let go and she turned around. She was wearing this black dress which was pretty cute to be honest. She had pink strapped heels on that were 4-5 inches as well. We talked over some punch and walked to her table. We ate some chips and talked about random stuff.

Her date to the dance was this guy named Kevin. He was friends with Jack and Finn but he was like Jack. He was only mean under peer pressure but if his girl was around he wouldnt dare. In 10 minutes the dance would be starting.

The music started playing. They started with a moderately paced song. I didnt know what the title was but I liked it. I started dancing with Daniella until Kevin pulled her away. I was now dancing alone. Where the heck is Jack.

After 1 hour of fast songs they announced they were gonna play a slow song. Before the slow song played I felt a warm hand touch my shoulder. I turned around to see Jack.

He motioned for us to dance. We danced in sync to the song and it was the best moment ever. Lets just say its awesome. He is such a good dancer. After the song ended he kissed my forehead and then disappeared into the crowd. What?

I continued dancing to the next song which was fast. After the song they were about to announce the prom prince and princess then the prom king and queen. The song ended and I was grabbed by yet again Jack.

"Hey where have you been? After the slow dance you disappeared."

"What Ive been eating at the table this whole time."
