About a month later, I finally managed to get Jungkook to go outside with me in his human form. He was finally starting to trust me and it made me so happy. I had decided that we should go to the local park, the same one that we went to when Jungkook was a little bunny. I thought that Jungkook would of been excited to go outside but he was the complete opposite. He looked scared. His ears flopped down and his doe eyes were wide and alert, his small lips formed into a slight frown.

"What's wrong?" I asked the quivering boy, stepping closer and holding his arm gently, caressing it softly to try and calm him down. "Do you not want to go to the park?" I asked, looking into his eyes. He looked away, avoiding eye contact, yet my gaze stayed stuck onto him. He shrugged his shoulders, not replying with actual words. "Jungkook please tell me" I said softly, "I won't hurt you". Then, he finally mumbled quietly;

"I'm scared".

"Scared of what?" I asked, as I was now genuinely worried for the younger.

"I don't want people to recognise me, and to know that I look like this" he spoke. I was correct. He was self-conscious of how he looked because he wasn't 'normal'. People would either be scared to go near to him, hurt him because he is 'weird', or want to take him for their 'desires' - all of which was wrong and I would not allow to happen. But then I thought about what he previously said: 'I don't want people to recognise me'.

"Why would people recognise you?" I hesitantly asked after thinking about it for a while. Jungkook then looked up at me,

"I don't want to say yet" he replied. A frown then appeared on my face and my heart felt like it had been ripped in two pieces. Maybe he didn't trust me after all and had only agreed to go outside because he felt pressured to do so. I immediately felt guilty.

"I'm sorry Jungkook," I said, looking away and removing my hand from his arm, letting it fall back down to my side, "We don't have to go outside if you don't want to-"

"But I do want to" Jungkook quickly interrupted me, making me look back at him. I was confused, but hearing him saying words like that, wanting to overcome his fears, made my heart warm up.

"Okay Jungkook," I replied with a soft smile appearing on my face, "I will help you".

We were finally going to go outside together and I was very excited, but I needed to get everything right so Jungkook would feel comfortable. I dressed him in a black turtle-neck sweater with navy blue jeans, a long oak-brown coat, a pair of winter boots, a pair of snugly gloves, and a beanie to hide his ears with.

"What do you think?" I asked, leading him to stand in front of a tall mirror in my bedroom so he could look at himself. A small, shy smile appeared on his lips and he then looked up at me, nodding, his little bunny teeth showing slightly.

"Thank you Taehyung!" he smiled, bouncing slightly. A sudden thought then popped into my head. I looked through my bedside drawer and took out a black, cotton face mask and handed it to Jungkook, to which he then put it on and he smiled even more. He looked up at me again, a pale pink blush was starting to appear on his cheeks. "Thank you" he said, snuggling into his nice, warm coat. He did look extremely cute, but I had to remember, he was actually still a bunny.

"So, are you ready to go?" I asked as I picked up my bag that contained my phone, wallet, camera, and some snacks, slinging it over my shoulder. Jungkook nodded as a reply, smiling. "If you ever want to go back home or need to hold my hand or anything, just tell me okay" I said softly, looking into his eyes. I was worried for him as he seemed so nervous to go outside, I wanted to make sure he was comfortable.

"Okay" he simply replied, nodding his head. I then opened the door, and off we went to the outside world.

On the way to the park, I noticed that every so often, Jungkook would shiver due to his nervousness, and every so often, I would ask him the question: "Are you okay?". I had to keep him safe.

To my relief, we arrived to the park safely and Jungkook hadn't told me to go back home yet, so that made me feel a bit more relaxed. We walked around for a bit, enjoying the scenery of the bright flowers, tall trees, and fresh grass.

"Hey Jungkook," I started, "do you want to take a picture together?" I asked, to which he nodded with a shy smile. We stood underneath a big tree together, I then took out my phone and took a picture of us, and it looked so cute. He clapped his hands, bouncing slightly from happiness. He then lay down in a patch of pink flowers, giggling.

"Hyung! Lets take a picture here!"

I smiled brightly, lying down next to Jungkook. He finally called me hyung, which means he was starting to trust me. It made me happy. I then held up my phone and took a few pictures of us. He then giggled, wrapping his arms around me and snuggling.

"Are you having fun?" I asked softly, to which he nodded excitedly.

"Yes! Thank you Taehyung!" He smiled. We stayed like that for a while, gazing at the clouds and pointing out the ones that looked like different things.

After a while, it was starting to get dark, so we agreed it would be best to start heading back home. We walked beside each other, talking and laughing about different things. However, now that it was dark, I had noticed that Jungkook had started to become more nervous and scared again, just like he was before.

"Are you okay?" I asked softly, looking at the smaller boy worriedly. He didn't reply with words, he just nodded his head. Despite his answer to the questions, a few seconds later, he held my hand tightly, walking closer to me. I held his hand back, caressing the back of it with my thumb to calm him down - fortunately, it worked.

Soon, we made it back to the apartment, and Jungkook was no longer scared anymore. In fact, that smile that was on his face before appeared again, and he was bouncing slightly and clapping his hands.

"Thank you for taking me out today hyung!" he said happily, bouncing his way over to me and, to my surprise, hugged me tightly. I stood still for a moment, as I was unsure of what to do. He had never hugged me before. Soon enough though, warmth took over the awkwardness in my body, and I gently hugged him back, resting my chin on his shoulder.

"It's okay," I said.

"I'm glad that you enjoyed it".
