"Yoongi?"

Yes, it was Min Yoongi. I used to be friends with him in school; in fact, he was my best friend, however we ended up drifting apart because he had gotten a boyfriend. I never knew his boyfriends name, or what he looked like, but because Yoongi wanted to be with him all of the time, our time together lessened and lessened until it completely stopped. We hadn't seen each other in over a year. I was a bit sad to see him drift away from me, but I let him because since he had starting dating that guy, he was a lot happier than I have ever seen him be before, so I let him go for his own good. I wanted to see my best friend happy, especially since he was always so gloomy and tired and sad. However, if Yoongi was so happy with his boyfriend, then why was he sat here alone asking for food? I sat down next to the boy, taking out a packet of cookies from my bag (I wasn't going to eat them anyway) and giving it to him, to which he gladly accepted with a small smile. I gave him a few minutes to eat before asking him questions as I didn't want to make him feel any worse than he currently was, but before I could ask any questions, he had already answered one.

"I got kicked out..." he mumbled, not making eye contact. After a long pause, he finally spoke again. "Because I walked in on him and another girl." I was shocked, extremely shocked, but I felt bad for him. His voice was so emotionless and dull. He didn't seem to be upset or angry. He just felt nothing. It was as if getting kicked out was a regular occurrence and therefore he was used to it. "I've been kicked out for a week so far," he said, "I wasn't allowed to take any belongings, therefore I don't have any money, meaning I can't buy food or water." He then stopped talking for a while as he ate the last few bites of the cookies. All I felt was sympathy towards him, as I couldn't even begin to imagine how horrible he must have been feeling.

"Come to my house." I told him. He finally looked up to me and gave a tiny smile (that was almost invisible) and nodded. It was only then I noticed how weak and tired he looked. His skin was paler than usual and it was dark underneath his eyes. He also seemed smaller than he used to be and I was starting to get worried. How often did this boyfriend kick him out?

On the way back to my house, neither of us spoke a word. It was silent, yet it didn't feel uncomfortable or awkward. In fact, it felt okay, and normal. When we arrived, the first thing that Yoongi did was sit on the couch and closed his eyes, relaxing. He must have been having a really tough time if he was allowing himself to relax. He was usually a very hardworking person and loved music with a passion, and sometimes he was too harsh on himself that I would have to force him to rest. I remember those days very well.

Whilst Yoongi was having time to relax, I went into the kitchen and quickly heated up a pizza from the night before in the microwave. I also filled up a glass with water as he must have been feeling very dehydrated too. Once the pizza was heated up, I tapped Yoongi's shoulder gently, alerting him to wake up, and gave him the food and drink. He gave me a small smile in return as well as a nearly inaudible "thank you". It didn't take Yoongi long to demolish the pizza and drink the water, to which I chuckled at quietly. It was good to see him eating and drinking.

That evening, I had completely forgotten about Jungkook as I was too focused on looking after Yoongi. We watched a few films and played some video games too (to which I played bad on purpose just to let him win). It was fun. So fun that I even managed to get one small laugh to escape his lips.

That night, I allowed him to sleep in my bed so he was comfortable. I could imagine that since he was kicked out, he probably hasn't had anywhere decent to sleep. He felt a bit bad for making me sleep on the couch but I reassured him to not worry. His comfort and needs were more important than mine. Yes the couch was uncomfortable, but I didn't care, as all I wanted was to do my best to help Yoongi feel better.
