Tender moments never to last,
Simple pleasures from the past,
Broken pieces of a tender heart,
Shattered dream from the start.
Promises once held so true,
Images from what we once knew,
Paths entwined, threads unraveled,
Footsteps past, from roads we traveled.
Searching an emptiness within an abyss,
Seeking to find, all empty wishes,
Once whole, everlasting and full,
Now a fragment of an innocent fool.
