Chapter 11: the winner gets the girl!

Cass' POV
Hanging out with Leo with his gang, they are a ok group and Cha cha keeps staring at me or should I say glaring at me.
"Um Leo why is she staring at me?"
Leo had his arm around me being all flirty.
"She just mad because I dump her and you're my new girl now."
Leo lean in for a kiss but I lean back so he doesn't kiss me. He looked confused and embarrassed.
"Look Leo you're a good guy but I don't do that like on first dates."
He nodded and went ahead to go back talking to his friends. I excuse myself to go outside and smokes a cigarette. Till I saw a familiar car. I saw Kenickie and Danny in it. I was relieved, sad, confuse and still mad at Danny.
"Why the hell are you guys doing here?!"
"Uh we came to save you Cass now let's go!" Danny said trying to grab my hand.
"Let go of me Danny I don't need saving I have a new group to be with guys who won't break my damn heart!"
I yelled at Danny and Leo and his gang shows up.
Kenickie gets out of the car to be in Leo's face. "Alright Give us the girl and no one gets hurt" Kenickie said. I got really piss thinking I belong to them!
"Excuse you don't own me I ain't your girl or friend anymore. Danny you betrayed me and Kenickie you just let him do whatever he wants! He got his girl and I'm now Leo's new girl now leave me alone!"
I yelled at them and everyone was quiet.
"Cass cmon lets just go home!" Danny said
"This is my home now!" I said going next to Leo. Leo laughed and held my hand tight. " you see T birds she don't want you do run along."

"How about a bet." Kenickie brightly said I was confuse on what is Kenickie thinking in his head. "You and me thunder road!" I was confuse on what in the world is thunder road.
"Really thunder road you realize that I'm going to kick your ass there." Leo said proudly

"Winner takes the girl and loser can't bother the winner ever again!" Danny said

"Hold on I'm confuse! What's thunder road, why am I trophy!!" I was getting really piss because no one was telling me anything!

"Cmon Cass, lets go." Leo said grabbing my hand but I let go.

"What's wrong Cass!"
"I'm gonna go to my friend's house...I think it's fair that I'm at someone else's house, Danny take me to Putzie's  house please?"
They all agree and we went to the car I gave Leo a hug before I left.

We all sat quietly in the car not saying a word I sat in the back while the guys were in the front seat.

"Hey Cass we are gonna take you to Frenchy's house not Putzie..." Kenickie said "it's just you shouldn't be staying with a guy."

I shrugged my shoulders not caring I'm still mad at them on how they treated me. Especially Danny breaking my heart.

We park in front of Frenchy's house and I see the girls heading towards the window. "Hey french can Cass spend the night with you for a while?" Danny said she nodded and went downstairs to open the door.

I just left to go inside not talking to them. I went to Frenchy's room lay on the bed trying not to cry.

Frenchy came into her room and I told her the whole story. She was shock and mad at Danny for doing that to me.

"Hey French what is thunder road? I never heard of it?"

"Oh it's this road that a lot guys will race there but it got banned from cops sometimes they will stay on the road so no one will go! People get hurt there!"

I was getting worried I don't want anyone to get hurt because of me.

~day of the race~

Frenchy and I took her car to thunder road everyone is there. Before the race starts I went to say hi and give a hug to Leo.

"Promise you will be ok and not get hurt Leo?" Leo smiles and give me a hug. "Relax Cass before you know it you will have your own scorpion jacket!"

While I was talking to Leo I heard a big thud I turn around and see Kenickie on the floor. I ran back there and see what happen!

"What the hell just happen!?" I said grabbing Kenickie's head
"Jan found a penny on the ground and Marty took it from her." Sonny said
"But she drop it and Kenickie went to pick it up  but he hit his head." Putzie said

Danny offer to drive grease lightning and Kenickie let him drive. I sat on the ground while Kenickie lay his head on my lap.

Cha cha grab her scarf and told them to go and they are off. Me and Kenickie got up and see them race. 

Danny was in the lead but Leo started to cheat using the spikes on his tires to ruin the car. They turn back and Danny went back in the lead and they drove on the wall! Leo try to ruin his tires but it fails.

Was Danny winning to be with me? I saw sandy far from us...maybe she just here just to support Danny...it sucks Danny wants to be with her than me.

Suddenly Danny found a small ramp and
Flew over Leo making Leo stop his car and
Danny kept driving towards the finish line! We all ran to Danny to congratulate him from winning.

Danny went up to me put my T-bird jacket back on and held me all of sudden dip me down then giving me the biggest kiss ever! I was so confuse but I kissed back hard! Everyone was cheering for us.

I let go of the kiss to breathe. "What about Sandy, Danny?" I said smiling "she knew I had feelings for you more than her we are just friends." He said about to give me another kiss. I lean back "nope you need to finish what you were gonna say!" I giggled he look confuse and then remembered "oh! Cass will you do me the honor and be my girlfriend?" Danny asked I smiled and nodded, he gave me a kiss and everyone cheered again!

I went to check on Leo to see if he's alright
"Hey you ok Leo?" He nodded "yea but you look better as a bird than a scorpion." He said smiling I Gave him a hug "you will forever be a honorable Scorpion and if anything happens to you always have a home here!" He said. I said good bye and went to back to everyone.
