Chapter 7: blue moon

We head to the dance and everyone is enjoying themselves at the dance. I love seeing everyone in their suits and dresses, Sonny link arms with me and started to dance with me I was happy being with my friends and laughing with Frenchy and Jan. When Sonny spun me around I bump into Danny that's when I felt my stomach turn and I saw him holding hands with Sandy.

"I-I'm gonna go sit down....kinda dizzy..." I went to sat down on the bench trying not to cry. I shouldn't be crying but just seeing Danny with another girl makes me feel sick.

I look up and see Sonny putting something in the punch bowl and I gave him a really look, he winks at me and go back to the dance.

I just sat on the bench really bored and then I see Rizzo with that ugly Crater face like really you dump Kenickie for a ugly guy?? I started to laugh and Danny saw me laughing then came up to me.

"What's so funny Cassie?"

"Rizzo took crater face to the dance and he's butt ugly!" I started laughing more and Rizzo saw me laughing and march up to me

"Do you have a problem hussy?"

"I just love the fact you decided to take crater face instead of Kenickie! He's better looking than him!" I laughed. Rizzo scoff and walked away.

We were all dancing till Vince announced the dance contest. Then the principal and teacher told us the rules for the dance.

Then we did the countdown and started the dance contest.
I started to dance with Sonny then Sonny had a great idea.
"You know what Cass, we are gonna make you dance with Danny!"

I tilted my head and laughed "what do you mean Sonny?"

"You will see my friend!" Sonny said as I tilt my head being confuse but went along with it.
While dancing with Sonny I see Rizzo got eliminated and I laughed. Kenickie went after her when she left.

When I saw Sonny left me all he said was "follow my lead!"

We were watching Danny and Sandy dance by themselves on the dance floor then Sonny went behind Sandy and drag her out and I guess it was was my cue to join Danny.

Danny was confuse on where Sandy left and I grab him to dance with me then we went along with the dance. He was smiling and I was smiling! I never felt this way before then the principal gave us the trophy and we started to dance more.

Vince announced us as the winner and wanted the winners to dance. The band started to sing Blue moon and we were slow dancing I was blushing like crazy

"This was exciting right Zuko?" I smiled at him

"Yes it was I just hope Sandy is ok?"

"I'm sure she is, she needs to realize that we are just here having fun"

Danny dipped me down and smiled at me our faces really close to each other, our lips almost touch we were so close to kiss then I look in the corner of my eyes and see my friends (Putzie, Moody and Sonny) literally giving the camera the blue moon everyone started laughing.

I didn't realize me and Danny were holding hands I was gonna let go but he didn't wanna let go!

~After the dance~

Danny took me home and we had a silent drive to my house

"I really hope Sandy got home safe..."Danny said

I was worried about her to she just left the dance.

"She probably ask her parents to pick her up, Danny she will be fine!" I said smiling

We made it in front of my house and again with the silent

"....well I better get home it's getting late...." I try to leave but Danny grab my arm and pulled me into a kiss!
