Your midnight eyes
Full of stellar goodbyes
Conscious slipping away
Just like your will to stay
A toxic cocktail of pain
I was so afraid to gain
Holding onto sanity
Was such a struggle looking at my vein
Stomach in the way
Not again today, I pray
Drenched in hate
This is my only escape
A struggle to sleep
My thoughts became so deep
