Virgil woke up with Delaney in his room holding his shoe in his face.
"Where did you get this?" Delaney asked.
"It...was my mothers." Virgil said. Virgil was luckily quick on his feet, he hated lying but he COULDN'T tell her the truth.
"This is the exact shoe the fag was wearing at the ball. Who looked strangely a lot like you. Did you sneak out without my permission." Delaney said. Virgil started bawling.
"I'm Sorry." Virgil said.
"NO YOU'RE NOT YOU FAGGOT! YOUR GOING TO HAVE SEX WITH THE PRINCE AGAIN AND NEWS FLASH BUDDY, HE DOESN'T LIKE YOU!" Delaney said running out with the shoe and locking the door.
"NO! LET ME OUT!" Virgil said banging on the door. He eventually gave up and slid down the door bawling.

Roman's father had fallen ill and he was at his side.
"F-father, can I tell you something?" Roman said crying holding his father's hand.
"Yes son." His father said.
"I-I'm g-gay." Roman said.
"Yes son, me and your mother knew since you were little. I want you to be happy, even if that means you marrying a man." His father said stroking his cheek.
"I love you dad." Roman said.
"I love you t-" and just like that he passed away. Roman fell to his knees and started sobbing, he new he had to find that boy, the boy he loved, the boy he danced with, he wanted to marry him, no one else.

Days past with Virgil stuck in his room, his mice friends would bring him some food that they found to keep him alive. An announcement was made to the entire kingdom that he could hear through his window that was open but high up.
"Greetings my loyal subjects. I prince Roman am looking for a boy with beautiful purple eyes and that will fit this shoe, we will search for days until we find him. It is time I come clean. I'm gay." Roman said with gasps in the audience. "Think what you want of me, I dont care. All I want is this boy." Virgil's face turned bright red. Delaney was wrong! The prince did love him! He wanted to escape, but there was no way out this window except death. He knew he had to get to Roman.
"RRRRROOOOOOMMMMMAAAAAANNNNNN." He screamed out the window hoping he would hear him but there was no chance. His house was too outside of the kingdom, he started bawling.

Roman heard someone call his name but just shook it off and thought it was his imagination. He was going to find his only one.
