Chapter 3: New day, new friends, old enemies

Manny feels the hand touch his shoulder and jumps a bit. He looks up to find Tony along with the other teachers looking worriedly at him.

"Hey. Are you ok?" Tony asks the small child. Manny looks up at him kind of scared. Then his expression went blank.

"Why do you care?" Manny asks bitterly. The teachers looked surprised by his reaction.

"We just wanted to make sure you're... you know..." David answered.

"Dead?" Manny raised an eyebrow.

"Wha-no, I-"

"Well, news flash," Manny sat up, interrupting Mr. Steak. "I am dead. On the inside." Manny looks away from them and at the floor. He curls up tighter in his position. Paige approaches him.

"H-hey its going to be ok-" Manny grabs her by her arm. Then he pulls her towards his face. Paige could see the pure rage in his eyes.

"Stop pretending to care about me! You're just wanting to be nice because you want me to trust you. You want me to fall into your trap! Well guess what? Im not falling for it!" Manny yells in her face. He drops her to the ground. Paige scurries faster than a mouse away from him.

"C-calm down..." Colin held up his hands. "How about we talk about this?"

"I've had enough talking," Manny growled, getting up from the floor. "I'm done talking to YOU guys."

"B-but..." Colin tries to stammer out.

"But nothing," Manny gritted his teeth, looking back before going out the doorway. "...you're not Robin. You're not Harry. You're not family. You're... you're nothing to me but a threat. You're scum. Garbage. Murderers. Links in the worlds worst chain." Manny storms out of the room. He runs into the bathroom and shuts the door behind him. He buries his face in his hands.

He looked at his clothes. They were stained with oil and blood from last night. "Shit, this is going to take forever to clean out." Manny whisper-grunts to himself. He sighs and checked his phone (A/N this story is taking place in present time). It was June 20th, 8:25 am. Today was a new day. And he damn well wasn't going to waste it. And he wasnt going to be pushed around by those stupid teachers.

Manny got up and began to take his clothes off and get in the shower. After a few minutes of showering, he got out and found fresh new clothes near the sink. He wrapped himself in a towel and picked up the clothes.

"Who left this here...?" Manny thought out loud. He just shook his head and changed into the clothes. He walked out of the bathroom. He then heard shouting and he flinched a bit. It sounded like it was coming from the game room (From episode 4). He slowly crept down the stairs and towards the room. He peeked in through the door.

In the room he saw the Globe he met when Colin started teaching, yelling the other teachers.

"You all should be ashamed of yourself, torturing a poor, innocent child! You had no right to kill his friends!" The globe scolded. "But because of your GREED and inability to think, he is probably traumatized!"

"A-Althea" Tony reaches out for her.

"DONT!" she swatted his hand away. Tony flinches and steps back. Manny was both shocked and impressed by this badass bitch. Althea inhales and exhales.

"Alice has reported Roy to the police. They are trying to look for him as we speak, Manny felt a bit relieved by this, Until the child tells me so under no circumstances, are you allowed to go near him again. If I find out that you have, I will hurt you. I will protect him."

Althea then turned to leave. Manny quickly hid underneath the stairs. Althea leaned against the wall. She sighed.

"Roy why did you do it? Why did you kill your wife and abuse your son? If you really didnt love him, you shouldve just left..." Althea said to seemingly nobody. Manny stayed in his hiding spot. Then he saw something glow. He peaked from his spot. There was a woman standing where the globe was standing just now.
