CHAPTER 1 | HOUSE TYDE

Whispers of the Tyde twins coming to Kings Landing quickly became the talk of every conversation all wanting to catch a glimpse of their beauty spoken in the ballads that are quite memorable.

News of their journey had spread after a king's guard had gone to brothel revealing to a whore about their forthcoming, which led to the crowded streets filled with lustful men, inspirited women, and hopeful children waiting in anticipation for their arrival.

The Tyde house is a small house yet highly respected located right near the sea of Dorne. Tyde is one of the few houses that still lives in prosperity and is unaffected in any conflict that the king may be involved whether it may be war or other conflicts.

At the dock of blackwater bay, the whole royal court stood in the blistering sun standing by for the arrival of their expected guest. The court stood rather unenthusiastically due to the scorching sun on the brink of blistering their skin. Though none of the royal court was vocal about antagonizing sun, the prince certainly was.

"We stand out here like peasants under the sun, mother! It should be the other way around." Joffery whined causing many members of the small council to look upon him in disdain.

"Now my son, don't worry they should be here soon," Cersei spoke softly not wanting her to son to cause a scene not truly knowing how much longer they would be there.

Soon enough, the volume of the crowd behind them begins to increase due to the sight of four large ships approaching with sails containing a golden panther, the Tyde sigil.

On the deck of the largest of the four ships carry the famous golden-haired twins who are looking upon kings landing fostering many thoughts about the place, and concluded that it was shit.

"I can already smell it from here. It doesn't smell quite pleasant." Nyla whispers swiping the silk golden cloth from her brother's pocket holding it up to her nose inhaling the fresh scent of the clean handkerchief.

"That is because it is shit. " Nathar answers his voiced laced with disgust knowing well that the king spends all of the courts' money on whores and feast rather than helping the people. " I hope we will not be able to smell it within the castle walls."

She examined the Red Keep comparing it to what she had always thought it would be like, and she was roughly right. The Keep was filled with duplicated towers that were quite high, it stood elegantly on a high foundation that are the hills allowing to see from afar.

She learned about kings landing from her brother who would be required to learn, while she was making dresses.

Though wanting to have the same education as her brother, she would sneak into the maesters library every night reading about not only kings landing, but the life stories about each Targaryean, especially Aegon Targaryean who she had developed a fascination for.
