This questions is pretty obvious to everyone who have read book 5 (cosmos) already but I just want to include it for the new readers and for a refresher.
Q1. What was the antique box's purpose? What's inside? How to open it?
A1. The antique box was delivered to Valeriana from her mother on Earth. Lily said, "I may not have a chance to send this soon so I shall give it to you now. You can only open it on your 18th birthday as per instruction from your late father," or something like that.
The antique box were later opened by the use of Valeriana's bracelet which her father gave to her when she was 4 years old.
And it came with a stupid white jade sphere. Nothing special, just plain white ball.
Or so we thought.
After the visit of Valeriana in Denovegasia, you guys still remember the little girl who low-key hinted Valery that her white jade sphere can amplify her purification abilities like ten times? That's where we begin.
The white jade sphere is then used to aid Valeriana everytime she purifies, either she purifies a corrupted land caused by the demons (refer to book 4 where the Continental Guardians died) or keeping a demon of Illusion, or spreading valerianas through the corrupted waters of Larkovia (refer to book 4), or keeping the demons at bay, or purifying the Familiars with it, the white jade sphere is in action.
Her jade sphere also act as a bridge to cross Valeriana's dreams and meet with her father, Janus and little Valeriana.
After the incident in the Baron's house, sunnuvabeech a.k.a Delaney joined the group. (He's one of my fav character <3)
The jade sphere have many mysteries, like for one, what is the purpose of the 'room' where Valery wakes up and sleep in everytime she enters the jade sphere?
There's also a painting there that is already revealed but not yet explained.
Second, we all know that there are six gates in the jade sphere, correct? But the question is, if there's only five continental guardians who can give the blessing to open the five designated gates, what's the sixth gate for? And who will Valeriana ask to give her the blessing with?
In the jade sphere, Valery can run miles and miles if she desire but she will never get tired. Its heaven for those pandas out there (like me, lol).
