Percy and Artemis appear back in the grand throne room of the Olympians. Their family was already sitting in their thrones. The 2 deities who had just arrived just summoned a god sized couch and get to their godly height before sitting down on the big sofa all the while holding hands. Waves of happiness and warmth seemed to flow out from them. They had identical goofy lovestruck smiles on their faces that promised both happiness and trouble in the future.
Percy: Well, let's get back to the game, shall we? [turns to face Apollo] Apollo -
Aphrodite: WAIT! You can't just come back from a date with the most famed man hater in history and just expect us to not ask for details! [the 2 gods sitting on the couch groaned, letting go of each other's hand] So? How was it? What happened? What did you do? Where did you go? Was it great?
Apollo: Yeah, sis! How was the date? Was Percy respectful? Did he force you to do anything?
Percy: Ok, ok. Calm down. Whether we discuss about our date to you guys is our choice, well mainly Artemis' since I won't reveal anything she does not want revealed.
All the other Olympians turn to look at Artemis whose face was slowly beginning to turn red, waiting for her response. The auburn haired goddess opens her mouth.
Artemis: Umm... ok. We didn't go on the date RIGHT AWAY since Percy had to prepare for the date. He took me to Delos to visit my mom and so that she could help me get ready for the date. We didn't go on the date until just this morning. In the evening, I think, he prepared the food for the date and then went to bed. When he woke up, he freshened up and teleported the food he made to the site of the date. [turns to Percy to confirm, Percy nods] While he did that, I spent some quality time with my mom. Then, in the morning, my mom helped me choose what to wear and right when I finished getting ready, Percy came.
Percy: Then, I brought her to an underwater cave that I found while swimming at Camp Half-Blood as a demigod. We had our date, some food I cooked, and then finished it up by talking and came here.
Athena: Perseus, what about my daughter? Are you going to cheat on her with my sister?
Percy: No, I'm not going to cheat on her. I'll see where all this goes before I do anything. [Artemis opens her mouth to say something, face contorted in anger] BUT I will not lead Artemis on false hope so I'm afraid I'll have to ask you to be patient with me on this, milady.
Artemis: That's understandable, I guess, although I don't really like how this is going right now.
Percy: Shall we get back to the game now? [The other gods nod although the love goddess does so hesitantly] Ok, back to what I was going to say earlier before SOMEONE interrupted me. Apollo, truth or dare?
Apollo: Truth, bro.
Percy: Ok. Why do you act like a playboy when you're actually not and lie about your sons? I know that most of them are just your champions whom you have blessed.
The other Olympians look over at Apollo in shock. They were shocked and confused about Apollo's apparent lie and Percy's observation skills. The god in question lost his goofy smile and put on a more serious face.
Apollo: How did you even find that out? [Percy opens his mouth to respond when Apollo puts his right hand up] Never mind. I don't think I want to know. To answer your question, Perce, I lied because it was the only I knew to get my big sister's attention. Back on the island, she was my idol and would spend a lot of time playing with me. Whenever I was hurt or down, she would be there to try to cheer me up. But then we came here and she stopped being my big sister and started treating me like all the other gods who surrounded us. I figured if it was the only way to get my sister to acknowledge me, then I would rather she hate me than forget me.
Artemis: Apollo, I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to cast you aside. [stands up, walks over to her baby brother and pulls him into a tight hug] I am so sorry. I promise you, I will not ever put you aside again. We can be happy together, spending some sibling time and annoying each other. Why didn't you even say something? You know I would have listened if you needed me to. didn't you?
Apollo: [latches onto Artemis] It's okay, big sister. I forgive you. It's partially my fault for not talking to you about it first. I didn't talk to you because I was afraid that you would say that I was just exaggerating and that you weren't ignoring me. By the time I had figured out what was really happening, it was too late. We weren't even talking anymore and you had the hunters to worry about so I put on this act.
The two siblings hugged each other tighter, oblivious to the group of people watching them.
Artemis: Apollo, whenever you feel that way again, tell me and I will stop. If you have a problem or if you're feeling a little down, come and talk to me. You're my little brother. I'll make time for you when you need it no matter what, okay?
The sun god nods, enjoying the feeling of his sister's hug, one he had not felt in millenia.
Percy: [clears throat] Um...ok. Why don't we take a break and let these two catch up and mend their relationship, shall we?
Zeus: Yes, I agree, nephew. Everyone, take the rest of the morning off.
Well, that's it guys. Hope you enjoyed it. I'm sorry for the delay in the uploading of the chapter.
