4. To a place called here

115 40 42

This road I'm going through
A paved route of rue
Pitch black freeway
Or is it a highway, I've got no clue.

Wheels on the road
Wagons and chariots
Either or both
Then came patriots.

Each driver a racer
Going to a place called there,
Don't care what happens
The new definition of fair.

Bloodied and also brewed
Coming in and off in pairs
Good to most, bad only to few
Test it if you dare.

Cause bodies don't count much
Time, however, does
Whatever may be it's cost
It's a cause so lost, way lost.

I wrote this poem focusing on the Nirapod Shorok Andolon, translate the Safe Road Movement that happened last year in Bangladesh. Two students were killed by a bus and many more were injured in the movement. It was a great move but alas the government failed to keep its promise.

Hope you all are doing well.

Your lil girl,
