                       Logan's POV:
So much work, so little time. I sit at my desk and begin going through the pile of papers on it. Paper by paper, I slowly make it through the pile. Rustling through my papers, I just barely notice Patton walking by. I glance up, but by the time I've noticed he was here he was already in his room. He slams his door. Not a hard enough slam for him to be angry, but enough to make me jump. Generally Patton doesn't slam his door, and he actually gets onto any of us who does. I become suspicious, and at any other point in time I would be up checking on him, but I quickly get distracted by my work.
It's been about an hour, and I check the time. My eyes widen. It's 2a.m.. I start to realize that Patton came in very late, about 1a.m.. Why did he get here so late? I quietly place my papers on the side of the desk, and get up. I walk to Patton's door, and very quietly knock. No answer, which makes sense, seeing as he has probably fallen asleep by now. I turn the doorknob and push the door open. I walk in, and I notice that Patton has left his lamp on. I look at him laying on his bed. He has his cardigan layed on his stomach, and has his glasses in his hand. His hair is a mess, and his bed is also. I look and there are tissues everywhere. I come to the  conclusion that he was crying. I grab his glasses and put them on his bedside table. Doing so, I notice that his glasses are actually broken. I wonder what he did to them. I grab his cardigan, fold it, and put it where it belongs. I grab his blanket and pull it over him. I notice a few bruises on his arms and his face. I gasp, but try not to freak out. I know he probably needs plenty of rest after whatever happened to him. I turn off his lamp, and stumble out of the room.
I get to my room and lay down on my bed. I yank the blanket up to my chest and attempt to fall asleep. Any and all attemps fail, because I am kept awake by one thing. What happened to Patton?
