6. Play Dates

It was a normal day for Roman. His friends were coming over, like they did almost everyday. When his friends arrived, they all ran up to Roman's room. Everyone always wanted to do something else, which always caused them to argue.

Roman grabbed his fake crowns, and threw them at everyone. "Aw but Roman! We played royal stuff yesterday." Patton whined. He had his cat hoodie on, and Roman could only guess what he wanted to do. "I know! Let's play aminals!" Patton got on all fours and walked a couple of steps before falling over. Logan sighs, "Patton." "Yes Logan?" Logan looks to Patton,"1: You are correct. We should do something other than royal stuff. 2: It is animals not aminals, and 3: We shouldn't play ami- I mean animals anyways." Patton started pouting. Roman looked up,"What should we do then?" Logan looked up smiling." School. Let's play school." Roman thought for a minute, but Patton quickly said,"No." Everyone looked to eachother, before they all started arguing and yelling at eachother.

Virgil sat on the sidelines and watched. Eventually he got bored and spoke up,"SHUT UP!!" Everyone looked to him. "I have an idea." Everyone listened to him. "We can play house." The others seem confused by his statement."Look, Roman can be a three year old-" " HEY" Roman interrupted, "...who acts like a little king." Roman stopped and nodded."Oh. Okay." Virgil looked to Patton" Patton you can be a cat." Patton was very happy that he got his way." And Logan, you can be the older brother who.... teaches his siblings...?" Logan nodded,"I do believe that would be called homeschooling. That sounds fine with me." The others went to start, before something came to all their minds. Patton asked their question,"But Virgil. Who's the dad?" Virgil stopped and thought for a moment. ".....Me." He finally said realizing his mistake of playing house. The others went off to playing, and would talk to Virgil like he was dad occasionally.

Their time to play with eachother was almost over. They had been playing for about 2 hours. Virgil's mom got their first, and before he left Roman waved to Virgil."Bye Daddy." The others snickered, and the parents started laughing. When Roman's mother closed the door she said,"....Okay then"
