Swapna, although born in a middle class family was always attracted to posh life. The love of her parents turned her into a stubborn girl who would never compromise on something she wants. On the other side, Ajay is a guy who always tries to make everyone around him happy. He knows he needs to work hard and take care of his mother.
When they got into relation he became everything for Swapna and she expected the same from Ajay as well. Even though Ajay wanted her to be the significant part of his life but he also didn't want to get distracted from his goals. Although he tried so much to manage time to be with her as long as possible, he sometime couldn't keep on time which made Swapna burst out on him. He always tried to explain her but she never listened. Even then he was always loving and cared about her as he knew what she is.
Swapna always loved his company but she believed like all others in the college that Ajay and Radha were in relation. As she knew how much time they used to talk over phone in the nights she never believed him when he said that they were just friends. She always felt insecure when he talked with Radha or when she was around them.
She got so worried when Ajay completed his studies in the college and joined the job.  She tried to talk to him the most time in order to make sure he was not attracted to other girls. She didn't want him to go for the field work but as she had no choice she kept silent. But when her friend said she saw him near her house the first thing got into her mind was that Radha's house was also situated there. She got so  mad and she  herself decided that he was cheating on her. This made her to think everything happening around in a negative manner.
On the other hand, Ajay never had any insecurities or any concerns regarding her as he believed she was the one for him. Even when he saw her that close with another guy he decided to talk to her but she was never ready to listen. Ajay caught up with his mother's health problems and he couldn't make it to Swapna. The gap between them increased still they went away from eachother.
They both loved each other with all their hearts but they couldn't stay with each other. A small misunderstanding ended all their dreams. Their story would have been a happy ending if either she tried to listen or he tried a little more to explain it to her. They cried all their lives missing each other and ego smiled at what it achieved.

"She wanted him. He wanted her. But ego got them both."
