Saihara grinned at Ouma and chuckled.

"You really get over serious problems pretty quick."

"What? Am I not supposed to?"

"N-No. I'm just saying that it's good to be one of those people who puts the past behind them and thinks about positive things that are to come in life."

Ouma had that blank look again.

"W- What did I do wrong now?" Saihara asked, putting a hand to his forehead.

He heard a faint sound coming from the ground. He looked down to see his hat at his feet. He then looked up to see Ouma, still in the same position, seeming not to notice that he had dropped Saihara's hat.

And he still had that blank expression on his face.

"Ouma-kun? You alright?" Saihara questioned after picking his hat up and putting it back on.

He crouched down to the same level as Ouma and looked him directly in the eyes.

Ouma felt his face getting hotter and redder by the second. He then flicked Saihara's forehead.

"Ow. What was that for?" Saihara rubbed his forehead.

"Don't get too close to me you pervert." Ouma harrumphed, pointing a finger at Saihara, his other hand on his hip.

"H- How come everything I do is perverted?" Saihara wondered aloud. "I only tried to see what was wrong with you. You keep on just making a blank face sometimes."

"That doesn't mean you try and kiss me!"

"Wh- Who said I was trying to kiss you!?"

"I did."

"Ugh, whatever." Saihara sat down at his desk chair while Ouma sat on the bed. Saihara was about to ask if he could sit next to Ouma, but realized that might not be the best idea.

Suddenly, Ouma got up and headed towards the door.

"W... Where are you going?"

"I'm going to that panta machine in the foyer. You want one?"

"You do realize that the motive's preventing us from having food and beverages, right?"

"... Dammit." The smaller boy mumbled. "Well, I'll go bring some grass~"

"Grass?"

"Monokuma never said anything about not having it."

"True."

"Grass it is then!" Ouma declared as he waltzed out the room.

Saihara smiled at the boy as he left the room.

When the door closed, Saihara leaned back on the desk chair and started reminiscing something.

He remembered he had met a boy like Ouma before. He had seen him getting bullied by six other boys and Saihara had intervened. Him and that boy became best friends and hung out every single day.

But during the end of break, they both found they weren't going to the same high school, and were out of touch since.

I think that boy's name was... Cockicha? Kokicha? Kokichi-

Saihara sat straight up in his chair immediately.

No. There's no way that the boy I met back then was Ouma-kun!

Saihara then started remembering all the events that happened in his life with him and the boy.

The boy had purplish black hair, his favorite colors were black and white, he loved grape panta, he was super energetic and smiling 98% of the time, he had a short stature, he was cute, and he was.... Ouma-kun...
