Jaebum's grumpy. Normally, Saturday's are the days to sleep in, not leave bed until well into the mid afternoon but his mother had plans. She woke him up at the ass crack of dawn, to go to the farmers market with her because she needed someone to carry her bags. Then he was roped into helping her make homemade kimchi which takes hours because she's apparently making enough for the whole fucking neighborhood. He just wants to sleep.

Right when he's about to sneak off to his room, and curl up in bed for a few hours or the rest of the day, whichever comes first, the doorbell rings. "Jaebum! Answer that!" His mother calls out and he groans.

He opens the door, prepared to scare off some troublemaking kids or girls scouts, but he's surprised to see Seulgi there instead. "What brings you here?"

"I got my drivers license!" Seulgi exclaims.

"Did you drive here?" Jaebum wonders, taking a peek out into his driveway to find her mother's car there.

"Yeah, I wanted to check up on you because you weren't replying to my texts." Seulgi tells him, leaning up to kiss him. "You okay? Why do you look so grumpy?"

"I'm tired."

"Aww, my poor baby." Seulgi teases, reaching to run her hands through his hair. "Can I come in?"

"Yeah..."

"Where's your mom?"

"Jaebum? Who was at the do— Seulgi!" Hyelin called out, rushing to hug her. "It's so lovely to see you. We were making kimchi, and I have plenty to give you."

"Thank you." Seulgi tells her, "I actually stopped by the store, and got you those candies that you love so much." Seulgi hands the bag over to Hyelin.

"Ah, thank you so much! How did Jaebum get so lucky?" Hyelin gushes, "I'm actually getting ready to leave for work though, I wish I could stay and chat."

"It's fine, mom." Jaebum groans, "I'll be taking Seulgi now."

"Okay...but remember our talk, Jaebum!" Hyelin calls out as Jaebum drags Seulgi to his bedroom.

"Your talk?" Seulgi questions.

"Don't worry about it."

Once they're inside, he closes the door and crashes on his bed, face first. Seulgi laughs at him, putting her bag down onto his desk and walking over to sit next to him. "You feeling okay?" She asks, reaching to rub his back.

"Mom dragged me up before sunrise to go to the farmer's market with her, then we spent the last three hours making kimchi. I just wanted to sleep in."

"Turn that frown upside down." Seulgi teases, leaning down to press kisses against his cheek, once his head is turned to look at her. "Do you need someone to help you cheer up?"

"You're not going to let me sleep though."

"Well...no, but you don't have to leave bed? Isn't that good enough?"

"Maybe. What do you have in mind?" Jaebum asks, turning over so that he's on his back. Seulgi smiles.

"Just wait until your mother leaves."

To pass the time, Seulgi cuddles up to Jaebum's side, scrolling through her feed, and sharing anything interesting with him. "I think this color will look good on you! It'll be blue at first, but then it'll fade to this nice blue/grey." Seulgi shares, "I can do it for you. We can get the dye later."

"You? Dye my hair?"

"Yes, I think I can do well! It can't be that bad."

"If that'll make you happy, sure."
