"Pep rally after school today! Important information about prom, so be there!" Seulgi announces before school, handing out flyers with Jaebum. She's excited, he's not. "Jaebum, you're scaring people away." She complains.

"Why am I doing this? I'm not on the prom committee."

"Yeah, but I am, and you said you'd help me."

"I know... I didn't think it'd be this way though." Jaebum yawns, stretching his arms before suddenly engulfing Seulgi in an embrace. "How much longer?"

"Just a few more and then we can go.... Pep rally after school!" Seulgi exclaims, giving away more and more flyers. "Let go of me so I can do this."

"Nah, I'm good."

"You're annoying." Seulgi groans, and Jaebum responds by pressing kisses against her cheeks until she can't help but laugh. "Baby..."

"I'll stop joking around and let you do your thing." He sighs, "What's the important information?"

"Wouldn't you like to know." She giggles.

"I can't get an insiders tip or something?"

"No, you can wait for the pep rally like everyone else."

"Wow... where's the love?"

"You are going to the pep rally...right?"

"Do I have a choice?"

"No, you have to go! We're trying to be crowned prom queen and king! How else will you get votes?"

"Babe, people like you. You'll gain votes just for being as pretty as you are."

"But what about you? I don't want to win if you're not going to win too."

"That's sweet...but it won't offend me if I lose. As long as whomever does win doesn't get too touchy when you dance with them, we'll be good."

"Okay... I still want you to win though."

"We'll see about that. When are you going shopping for your dress?"

"Friday after school with the girls. I'm aiming for yellow or a canary."

"Canary is yellow. So... after you pick your dress, you'll help me pick out my tux?"

"Yes, but you can buy the corsage, so it can be a surprise."

"Okay... I'm also renting our hotel room this weekend, for the best deal."

"Okay... we'll have to dye your hair before prom too... say goodbye to the blue."

"I can still squeeze two more weeks out of it though, before it gets really gross and faded."

"I'll miss it... you'll no longer be the hot senior with the blue hair."

".... Maybe you'll finally be able to let that comment go." Jaebum teases, pinching her cheek. "I'm off to go skip class with Mark, I'll see you at lunch."

"Why must you do this to me, Jaebum?" Seulgi groans, "I'll see you at lunch."

"Fine... I'll skip half of class." Jaebum places a quick kiss against her forehead, "Does that work better for you?"

"A little, have fun with Mark, I guess?"

Instead of sneaking off to the roof or the garden for lunch, they eat with their friends in the cafeteria. It's weird for Jaebum, he's avoided this place for majority of the year, preferring alone time with Seulgi than being surrounded by his classmates, but it's refreshing at the same time. They share a lunch that her mom packed for her, listening to Wendy and Sooyoung bounce back ideas for the prom theme like they haven't already secretly solidified a theme. Jaebum just hopes that their prom has nothing to do with Paris, or stars because both of those are so cliche and overused. He does know that whatever the theme, the decorations will be extravagant, Joohyun's spearheading the entire thing with Soojung apparently, and with their combined wealth and love for all things extra and expensive, it'll probably be as big as the Met Gala. "Babe?" Jaebum whispers in Seulgi's ear, she turns to him and pecks his cheek. "The theme isn't the Met Gala, right?" Thinking about it, he'd probably take Starry Nights in Paris over the Met Gala or a Great Gatsby theme any day.
