Mani came downstairs and saw Kierra watching a movie

" Baby can we talk for a minute?" The older woman says taking a seat beside her daughter

"About?"

" You, I wanna know why you are behaving like this"

" Oh so now you care, why do you think dad filed for a divorce it's because you never had time for us"

"Come on now you know that's not the real reason why your father left-

" Well that's one of the reason, the other one is just him being gay"

" Kierra, baby I'm sorry that I do not spend much time with you, I'm doing my best to make it up to you"

" Well you're doing a fine job. Anyway  I gotta go"

" Where are you going?"

" To the mall with some friends. Can I have some money?"

Mani picks up her purse and hands the younger girl a 100 bill

" That's all"

" Yea that is all you need"

" Whatever, thanks" She leaves

"Lord help me with this child" Mani says, her phone then buzz indicating that she has a message

Unknown: how are you doing today my fine lady?

Mani: Who is this?

Unknown: the stranger you danced with

Mani: How did you get my number?

Unknown: awe you dont remember giving it to me? Anyway you were a bit tipsy lol

Mani: What else did I do with you on that night?

Unknown: Nothing out of the ordinary, but it was great to see the all so fearful business woman loosen up😉. So what do you say lunch today, on me?

Mani: Nah I cant, I have a lot of paperwork to complete

Unknown: Well maybe tomorrow, dont tell you work all weekend

Mani: I have somewhere to be tomorrow

Dinah: How about next weekend then🤞🏼

Mani: I dont know what my schedule would be like. Anyway I have to go

Dinah: Enjoy the rest of your day hotness

Mani: You too

" She is playing hard to get, why do all of the cute ones behave this way" The blonde says
