James POV
Driving a couple of miles we come to the border of the Crystal pack in the early hours of the morning, coming to a stop we're surounded by patrol wolves.
Rolling down the window as one of the now man walks over " we are from nightshade pack we wish to speak to alpha" i speak calmy, his eyes fog over for a couple of seconds.
" Alphas not here currantly " he aswers
Huffing i glance at my beta before turning back to him " the alpha is here as he hasnt been seen anywhere else now we wish to see him." i growl, his eyes fog over before clearing up
" Follow us " he grounds out before shifting and jogging ahead with the other wolves caging the car in.
"This should be fun" my beta James grumbles tiredly.
Parking up in the drive way of a white mansion with lots of windows for natural ligh, seeing the door open we pile out of the car walking towards the door to see a tall man with power coming off him " Alpha james welcome we will sort rooms for you and your pack and shall talk in the morning" he announces stepping aside, allowing us into the house.
He starts walking towards the stairs so we follow James comes up to me and whispers" he seems older for an Alpha and not as much power coming off him"
stiffly nodding " we'll sort it out in the morning" the Alpha opens doors to bedrooms allowing my pack members to go into untill there was only myself and the Alpha.
"This is your room, you and your pack are not allowed to go to the top floor as it is my familys floor please respect this. Goodnight Alpha James" he nods walking away
Closing the door i look around seeing it has cream walls with a wall window facing the forest, a king size bed facing the window with black covers over it.
Stripping out of my cloths leaving me standing in my boxers i crawl into bed looking at the ceiling watching the shadows dance across it.
My wolf paces in my head sniffing "whats wrong Tod?" i mumbles feeling the start of a headache coming
" i dont know its something"
Rolling onto my stamach groaning before sitting up " i wannna sleep" i whine, looking out the window. Hearing something outside ping followed by sharp whispering from the alpha and a female voice.
Straining my hearing i hear parts of the conversation " i will not be meeting them looking like this" the fierce females voices growls
" You have to, they already suspect something, i dont have the power coming off me like i did you have it since i handed the title down" the alpha whispers back
Straining my hearing more i can hear what sounds like... wheels?
" We will not discusse this when Alpha james is close enough to hear now go back to mum and sleep i need to finish work " the female says softly
" Goodnight sweetie"
"Goodnight daddy" hearing them fade away i lay back thinking whats wrong with the girl and is she the alpha? no. there has never been a female alpha in two hundred years and she was the best of the Alphas thats why she was murdered.
" It's her! shes the one we're looking for!"Tod screams jumping around in my head like a pup.
"What are you talking about?"
"The girl in the hall way shes our mate! get her now i want to hold her!" he jumps trying to take control
" no didnt you hear how scared she is? wait till tomorrow" i growl rubbing my face before finally falling asleep.
Rolling away from the burning sun, my eyes flutter open taking in the bedroom before stretching as i sit up on the bed pulling on a random pair of sweatpants before walking over to the window to see the whole of the crystal pack training in groups of 5 looking over to the left i find a group of buff females fighting impressively, to say i was shocked was an understatment as my pack dont have alot of female fighters but here their are nearly the same amout as males.
walking towards the bathroom i turn the shower on and step under the water, i wonder what my mate looks like because her voice sounds so sweet and caring and like butter, shivering at the thoughts. i turn off the water and dry off wrapping a towel around my waist.
hearing a knock at the door i walk over and open it to see James leaning on the door frame
" morning the 'alpha' wishes for us to meet in the office"
grinning i nod " why you grinning like a mad man?"
" shes here and the Alphas daughter i think" James slaps my shoulder smiling before walking towards the stairs.
here goes nothing.
