Taking out his key, Logan rammed it into his door. He was exhausted from the traveling that he had to do, going and coming back home. Hearing hasty footsteps heading for the door to his right, Logan snaps his head in the direction of the noise, seeing the door swing open. Aurora came out and flew onto him, nearly knocking him over.
Startled by her attack, Logan quickly catches himself before he tumbles over his luggage. "Aurora!" He gasped.
Aurora clung to him tightly and smiled. "I missed you."
Humbled by Aurora's soft tone, he hugged her and smiled faintly. "Did you, now?"
Looking up at him with a disappointed glare, Logan asked what was wrong.
"You didn't miss me back?"
"Oh," Logan chuckled. "Well, of course, I missed you. I was trying to get the heck out of Yonkers as soon as possible, but they kept throwing more meetings and conferences at me. It was ridiculous."
"I guess once you get the job, you're going to be a busy man from then on."
"Yeah, that's the way it goes..." Logan exhaled as he opened his door.
Aurora backed away, watching him drag his suitcases into his apartment. Peeking inside, Aurora blinked. "I've never been inside your place before."
"Come on in. There's a first for everything."
Closing the door behind her, Aurora leaned back on the door with her hands behind her and locked the knob silently. Watching Logan walk down the hall to put his luggage away, she looked around his lovely home. It was very modern. Aurora was very impressed by the design.
Coming back to the room, Logan noticed Aurora just standing by his front door. "Mind explaining why you're just standing there?"
"Oh, uh..." Aurora mumbled. "...I don't know where you'd want me to sit."
Furrowing an eyebrow, Logan jabbed his thumb and head to the left. "You can just chill in the living room, let me just go take a quick shower.
"Okay."
"Make yourself comfortable. There are drinks in the fridge, I believe! You'd probably hate to eat the leftovers, though. They've been sitting there for three days." Aurora hears Logan shout from behind the bathroom door. "Also, the cups are in the cabinets!"
"Alright, got cha!" Aurora was so excited to see Logan that her thirst level was actually high. Hurrying to the fridge she grabbed the closest thing to drink. Placing it on the counter, she reached for the cabinets. Opening up, she noticed that the cups were quite the mile to climb to. "I need a damn growth spurt...really quick." She grumbled.
"Ah, crap..." Logan ruffled his hand through his hair as he came into the kitchen. "...sorry, I forgot that the cups are pretty high."
"Yeah, why did you place them up there—" Turning her head to give Logan a certain look, her face lit up and she screamed, covering her face, and looked away.
Logan stared at Aurora. "Geez, what's your problem?"
Aurora's cheeks reddened. "...you're only wearing a towel."
"Ah," Logan glanced down. "Well," He sighed, looking away. "I'm just getting you a cup," Walking over to Aurora, he grabbed a cup for her. "I didn't mean to startle you." Logan grinned, waiting for Aurora to open her eyes and glance at him.
Aurora turned to him, removing her hands gradually.
"Don't tell me, you've never seen a guy shirtless?"
