Jungkook walked into the stage room, seeing that a bunch of girls were gathered in front of the set. Mr. DeChart was likewise there, monitoring the progress.
"Please, form a line. All models with lettered tickets, you know your positions and what line you will be performing. Wait for the photographers to call your letter.
Jungkook sat down in a chair, watching. He didn't see Aurora anywhere.
After what his girlfriend told him, Jungkook had a lot of thoughts weighing heavily on his mind.
Is that why Allen kept pressuring me to introduce him to my master? He thought. But why?
"Aurora, you're up!"
Glancing up quickly, Jungkook noticed that there was a girl that looked almost like his master, but she was all dolled up.
She was beautiful.
Jungkook blushed profusely when he realized that it was her. "Master..."
Aurora stepped onto the set where the directors told her to stand. The photographers gave the tomboy instructions on how to stand and position herself. She felt quite awkward standing in the way they told her to.
"This is how you guys want me to stand?" The tomboy asked in disbelief.
"Yes. Don't worry about feeling awkward. If the pose is awkward, that means the pictures will come out wonderful." The photographer smiled at Aurora and winked.
Blushing, Aurora glanced away.
As her pictures were being taken, some of the other models were whispering.
"I heard that's Jungkook's little sister."
"How is that possible? Jungkook is clearly Asian, and the girl, she's..."
"Yes, we know she's black."
"Shh! Keep your voice down!"
Despite how loud the flashes and cameras were clicking, Aurora's ears were keen and sensitive to the whispering.
At least they know me as his sister...and so what if we don't look alike?!
The tomboy had to hold her face in place. A side of her wanted to revert back to her old ways and curse those girls out. But she knew that would make her look very unprofessional.
Just keep calm, Aurora...
Once she was finished, Aurora stepped off of the set and went to grab some water in the kitchen. Before she was able to leave, Mr. DeChart caught her by surprise.
"Mr. DeChart!" She gasped.
"I'm sorry I scared you." Allen smiled. "I just wanted to say you did a magnificent job." He shook her hand. "I knew that you were a catch when your..." He cleared his throat. "Brother, introduced you to me."
Aurora laughed nervously. "...yeah."
"I see that you were leaving, though. Is everything alright?"
"Yes, actually." Aurora nodded. "I'm just getting some water."
"Alright. Once you're done, meet me in my office. I want to discuss further what to do next before any finalization."
"Okay."
Jungkook watched the entire interaction between the two. Once they had separated, Jungkook got up to follow Aurora from a distance.
Exiting the stage, a moment after her, Jungkook looked around to make sure no one else was following.
