After the plain ride it another 3 hour drive. I was reading when Lassiter said this is darkness falls. I looked up and saw we'll i didn't see anything because the there was a wall that seemed like it could go on forever. Lassiter drove up to a gate were eight people were guarding. Lassiter rolled down his window, "Rebecca Michelson age 16"a tall man asked."that is correct" Lassiter said. "Right this way then" another guard said.

The car rolled through the gate and then came to a sudden stop. "We will walk the rest of the way" Lassiter said. When I got out of the car I was hit with the coolest sight I have ever seen, it was like its own little world. There was a humongous building that looked like it was the school but there also were little shops, restaurants,houses , and other buildings, but the thing that stuck out the most was the people some were wolfs,some looked human, there were so many different kind of looking people. What is this place I whispered in amazement. "The home of all supernatural creatures"Lassiter said with a smile on his face.

Once I settled down from all the excitement Lassiter took me to what seemed like the welcome center. A lady with glasses was there."please take a seat" she instructed both me and Lassiter.

" your name is Rebecca Michelson" she said.

That is correct I answered with amazement in my tone how do they know all this?

"We'll it looks like you are a newbie vamp at darkness falls" she said. " we'll darkness falls is like it's own world you will go to school till you are 20 and from there you will get a job but you will stay In darkness falls for as long as you chose to live" she said. "We will give you 1000 dollars to start your life here in darkness falls but then it's up to you to get a job".

Is school free I asked?

"Yes she answered Lassiter will be bringing you to your dorm" she said.

I said thanks to her and left I was exited to live hear but I was unsure in the whole vampire thing.

While Lassiter and I were walking to the school I took the time to ask him questions. We're do you work I Asked him?

" I am the head chief " he replied.

Lassiter brought me to my room and said "school curfew is 11:30".

Thanks lassie I said and smiled.

"Lassie" he said confused. I thought it fit you better I said. He smiled and left.

At eight I decided to take a walk and test out my new abilities. I started sprinting and went like 50 miles per a hour it was so cool I started running so fast that I was flying but then I hit a tree and started falling I hit the ground hard and Sprained my ankle. I heard someone fly towards me and lift me up. I mounded in pain. I looked up and saw the cutest guy I have ever seen, he had black hair, he looked about my height and age and had icy blue eyes I couldn't stop looking at.

Isn't the guy supposed to catch the girl before she hits the ground I said. I heard him laugh and ask me what my name is. Rebecca I said I am new. What's your name I asked.

"Fang" he said with danger in his voice.
