China shook her head placing the sunglasses over her eyes before leaving out the jail. She decided that she wanted to push the hatred she felt for her family aside when she received a call from the hospital asking her to come identify a body.

To her dismay she faced a boy under the white sheet. She felt as if she was gonna throw up when the sheet was lifted and she was faced with her grandfather's lifeless body. He was the only one in the family she kept in touch with all this time. He was the only normal one and it was his idea that she leave and turn back.

She felt all the emotions hit her all at once. She sped walked out the morgue before sliding down on the wall and crying. Her lips quivered uncontrollably and the tears flowed out her eyes quickly. She took deep breaths hopefully to get the breathing back to normal.

She watched as a tall man in a white coat walk over to her with a sympathetic look on his face. He sat beside her while rubbing her back mentioning more bad news to come. She felt as if her whole world came down when she heard his words.

"I know you are suffering with finding out your grandpa is dead and I am deeply sorry. But, I have to inform you that your mother was on life support and her wires were pulled. We tried our best to save her but we couldn't. I'm deeply sorry."

She knew something wasn't right when both her grandpa and mother died on the same one. Her grandpa being killed by blunt force trauma to the head and her mother life support wires being pulled.

Hearing the conversation between her two sisters helped confirm her theory. She shook her head in disgust because how mentally unstable they were. Maya craved love from the family and would do anything to feel accepted. She would go to the extreme and it was easy for anybody to manipulate her which was honestly sad.

Bali or California whatever she was going by is a pathological liar. She knew how to have people fall for her innocent side. Once she got close to her target she strikes. Just from me being in the house I knew something was really wrong with the girl deep inside. She had issues and nothing could help this girl only thing is medicine.

The black barbie hair salon, China kept repeating to herself as she drove to the location. The first step to stopping Bali's plan was to let them know what was going on and to warn them to stay far away from New York and the salon until Maya and Bali could be stopped.

She park the car getting out feeling the hot sun ray hit her face. She walked to the salon seeing the big closed sign displayed over the door.

"Shit." China cursed loudly hurrying back to her car right across from the salon. She decided to sit in her car and wait to see if Maya shows up so she could take pictures to add to her files.

She sat in the car hidden behind the tinted windows that made it seem like nobody was in the car. She looked at the sticky note with the owners number that she obtained earlier on her way here.

She watched carefully until she seen Maya walk up to the front of the shop. She quickly leaned forward taking her camera into her hands taking multiple pictures. She held a small smile on her face as she watched Maya look around nervously before walking away.

"Gotcha." She smiled to herself before placing the camera down and starting her car so she could follow her. Going down the road she made sure that she was 3 cars behind so she wouldn't look suspicious.

Her phone started ringing causing her to hit answer on her steering wheel as she navigated the busy streets of New York.

"Hello?"She slowed down to make sure that she wasn't suspicious.

"I want you to be assigned to the case of your grandpa and mother. You the only one that knows the significance of your families relationship. I want you to figure this out and fast. We don't need a killer walking around the street." My boss deep voice spoke through the speakers of my car.

"Already on it." She laughed slowing down seeing my sister going down my grandpa's small community street.

"Be careful baby. I want you back home alright." She smiled listening to him.

"I promise baby. I love you."

"I love you too and i'll make sure to kiss Jr. goodnight for you." He then hung up causing me to sigh.

She came back to New York to figure out the mystery between these two deaths. Leaving her husband and child behind in Florida. Little did her sisters know was that she was one of the best black private detective in this country.

She slowed down and parked a few distance away turning the car off seeing her stop in front of our grandpa's house.

"She's dumber than I thought." China spoke to herself while shaking my head. Coming to a crime scene when you were informed to stay away from the house. I took pictures of her before leaving and pulling into a local McDonald.

She grabbed her phone dialing up the owner Zinna's number. She took a deep breathe while hearing the phone ring.

"Hello?" A soft voice answered the phone.

"Hello, I am detective China Kendrick and I'm in New York investigating the deaths of Patrick Kelly and Patrice Kelly."

"Okay?"

"I'm investigating my twin sister California or Bali as you know. I have reasoning to think that you are next on her hit list. I need you to stay far away from New York and the salon for you and your friends safety."

"Wait. What?"

"I know it don't make no sense but I would like to have a face to face meeting with you and your friends to discuss what's going on in more details."

"Okay, i'll text you where we decide to go for the meeting."

"Perfect, thanks for giving me your time." She hung up placing her phone down with a smirk on her face.

She was gonna make sure that nobody else would be hurt from her mentally unstable sisters.
