"KNIGHT!"
May tumawag sa pangalan ko.
"O Sam?" si Samuel. Tropa ko.
Umupo sya sa tabi ko. "Ilang years na kayo ni Kath?" tanong nya sa'kin.
"2 years." sagot ko.
"Akala ko nag break na kayo ng dahil sa gang natin." He said.
I sighed. "Hindi naman sya makikipag break basta basta. Alam ko 'yon." I said.
"Alright." He answered while smiling.
"Babe!"
I heard her voice. It's Kathlyn. My love.
"Hey babe." I kissed her on her cheeks.
"Hey Sam!" bati nya. "Hello Kath!" bati din ni Samuel.
"So...Saan tayo today?" She asked while smiling.
"Everywhere. I'll stay with you whole day." I answered. She giggled.
Inilagay nya ang kamay nya sa chin nya. She's thinking.
"Our... house?" itinaas nya ang isa nyang kilay.
"Sure." I said.
"Ge. Ingat kayo pre." sabi ni Samuel at umalis na.
"Let's go your highness." Sabi ko kay Kath.
"Alright your majesty." she laughed. I smiled.
--Kath's House
"Where's your mom?" Tanong ko kay Kath nang makadating.
"She's upstairs." she answered.
Umupo ako sa sofa. She went upstairs to call her mom.
Hindi nagtagal, bumaba na sila.
Tumayo ako ng makita silang dalawa.
"Oh. So you're with this gangster again." her mom said.
"Mom stop." narinig kong bulong ni Kath sa mommy nya.
"How many times do I have to tell you, Kathlyn? Na wala kang future sa gangster na 'yan." sabi ng mom nya.
"Nagsisikap naman po ako." I said.
"Am I asking for your opinion? As long as gangster ka, kapahamakan lang ang madadala mo sa anak ko."
"Mom stop it. Please." Kath whispered.
"Sana hindi mo na lang ako tinawag. Waste of time. Busy pa 'ko." her mom said and she went upstairs.
Napayuko ako. Pero hinawakan ni Kathlyn ang mukha ko kaya't napatingin ako sa kanya.
"I'm sorry." she said.
"It's not your fault, Kath." Hinawakan ko ang mga kamay nya at hinalikan.
"As long as we're together, everything will be alright." I said.
She hugged me. I hugged her back.
I love Kathlyn.
I really do.
I'd die without her.

Tumunog yong phone ko.
"Excuse me." Sinabi ko kay Kath.
She just smiled.
