Be patient, yeah?
Be patient cause patient ones get Jannah.
Be patient cause Allah loves the patient.
Be patient cause you are one grateful soul and
Be patient cause to His plans you are content."Dear sister, don't cry and be patient. If you don't Allah will be displeased with you and you will gain twice loss; one of this hardship in this World and another is His wrath in the next.
And if you are patient, you will attain pure bliss.
- A sibling to another. (Both are prisoners)He was deprived of the freedom he was granted by his Owner
Born free by his mother he got locked as a prisoner. That particular day was not among his best,
He had woken up feeling the gravity of the test,He lurked into the corner talking to no soul
The solitude he hoped would help his heart coolAllah, He reminded himself as he closed his eyes,
His love is true and his plans wise,Be true to Allah, he willed himself to obey,
And He shall be to you, was his faith raiser that day,As he felt the torture harder to persevere,
And the help of Allah felt more far than near,Aasiyah, the wife of Fir'aun he recalled,
How she was tortured in a manner so cold,Not by a stranger but her own kin and spouse,
She wavered not an inch but remained steadfast on this causeFor she knew the taste of faith and guided was her perception
That she reached that great level and had her faith in perfectionSo, he asked himself, "If a woman made it through,
Then Oh dear soul, why wouldn't you?"As he felt the slander heavy and unbearable,
He recalled Sayyidah A'ishah and urged himself not to wobble,A wife of the beloved and the daughter of the truthful,
A'ishah bint AbiBakr, the mother of the faithful,Was smeared in a way that threatened to tarnish her dignity,
Yet she remained calm, collected and Maa Shaa Allah in Tranquility,For she knew, that Her Lord is the Wise and the Just,
She knew she'll get justice once we're all brought back from dust,So with all civility he asked, "If a woman made it through?
Then Oh dear soul, why wouldn't you?"When the loneliness he felt weighed him down so badly,
And he yearned for his beloved, his friends and family,He recalled Ummi Habibah the pious daughter of Sufyaan,
When she migrated to Habashah, the faraway land,Her husband had apostated and this had her grieving,
Then he passed away and she had to start struggling,Despite being alone, she was patient and forbearing,
For despite being far, she knew her Lord was caring,"So please tell, if a woman passed through"
His soul he asked, "Why wouldn't you?"As he felt so grieved and enough tears he had shed,
So helpless, depressed and just wished he was dead,He recalled Maryam the noble daughter of I'mran,
The pious, the chosen, the perfecter of Imaan,When she too once wished to be dead and forgotten,
Do not grieve she was urged through a message from Heaven,So she held on to her faith and in Allah she trusted,
For the tests are to reveal who and who is contented,When enemies he felt he had gained for no crime,
He recalled bint Khuwaylid, the noblest of her time,A rich and elegant, refined and gracious one,
Standing by the Prophet when things took a hard turn,When Quraysh forced them all to a boycott so brutal,
She persevered with contentment to what proved to be so fatal,Cause' her Imaan was perfect and she was one of a kind,
Khadiijah the exquisite wife of the best of mankind,"If a woman went through," with all kindness,
"Why wouldn't you?" His soul he addressed,And as he felt he has reached the pinnacle of adversity,
Affected by hunger, thirst accompanied by poverty,He recalled what he heard of Faatimah bint Rrasul,
Hunger was her everyday guest and poverty its fuel,She never showed distaste, but was patient and grateful,
For perfect was her faith in her Lord, The Most MercifulSo his soul he asked once more, "Why wouldn't you
If a woman so young managed to pass through?""Allah loves you so, to that I can attest,
You are so courageous and I hope you passed the test"His wife said to him with tears in her eyes,
He just stretched his arm and held the soother of his cries,"Indeed Allah loves me, I can't thank him enough,
And his most precious gift to me came in you being my wife.Thank you for loving me despite my flaws,
Thank you for not caring that I was behind bars",They sat like that nothing said in response,
For million and one words are exchanged in an embrace,He gazed at his poem and smiled in his heart,
His heart got emotional as he read his best part,"If a woman went through then why wouldn't you",
He hoped that to Jannah he would make it too,His deeds were flawed and his faith imperfect,
But he hoped that Allah would bless his patience trait."Don't cry my dear, say Alhamdulillaah,
That Allah helped me go through that ibtilaa."
