Ever so lightly, the grasses brushed against the skim of her blush pink skirt falling flawlessly, covering the bruises which held core deep trauma she can never stop thinking about. The wind kissed her pale face taking the liquid from her eyes away with it, as well as the gloom.

The night was young, so was her heart. Too young to be going through all this pain. It didn't matter anymore, nothing does. Her heart has dulled 50 shades darker, feelings -negative feelings - had won the biased war, one which she couldn't interfere. Here she sits on her knees, barely managing not to drop down completely and welcome the selfish darkness.

Alia was strong, strong to the point that no matter what kind of shit she had to go through, she'd withstand it all with a head held up high. Mental Abuse, Physical Abuse, deaths, illnesses , you name it. She's been through it all. And every time, she manages a reassuring smile. Just this once, just him, she couldn't withstand.

Her eyes took in the panorama view of the small cozy town that was lit in yellow dusty lights and its guardians - the ice-cap mountains. Such a breath-taking scenery. If only everything was just that undisturbed and peaceful.

Codan Blue. The name that runs in her mind like the atomic clock, endless. He was ethereal. Just like that he was out of reach, now even further at a place not a living breathing soul can walk. The wind became strangely silent, reminding Alia of the way his last heart beats faded away. It was unexpected, too sudden, too much to take in for a day. Unbelievable. He was healthy, or that's what they assumed from all the smiles and laughs he gave.

From what everyone, and Alia, could remember he was so energetic, so full of life.. Everyone envied him. He didn't have a care in the world, wild. Alia will definitely not forget how much he stood up for her even when the whole world turned their backs to them. She still can feel the softness of his hair as he laid his head on her shoulders and told her that he was ready to risk it all, at anytime, for her and her only. Codan was an irreplaceable friend, an amazing brother, a great lover and above all a significant being. That just makes it harder for anyone to let him go.

Pain, pain is when she realizes that the only soul she had devoted herself to was now in ashes. Pain is when she understands that she can never be greeted by the same cobalt blue eyes that shone ever so brightly with affection and care.

Alia looked upon the stars like how she had done with Codan, but only much more emotional.

"Why did you leave me? You said y-you."

Small and weak weeps holding all the sorrow interrupted.

"I'll remember you. I won't make promises. I won't say forever but.."

Silence.

"Nothing lasts forever, does it?"

The moon's silver light reached out to her, embracing her wholly. His love for her was a miracle. A miracle that helped the moon with dark craters to realize its true beauty and to open her heart to reach out to the world.

As thoughts entered and exited her mind like people at train stations, the night has fallen asleep, ending in peace. Despite the cold wind, Alia doesn't fail to catch the tucking feeling her heart felt from thinking about the wondrous times with Codan Blue, the one that had slipped from her fingertips. Alia wondered what the next beautiful story that could've happened to them if all this hadn't happen, if he hadn't left without notice.

Would they have had a chance for a happily ever after?

Would they be raising children and kissing them goodnight?

She took in a deep breath as she suck all the sorrow away and closed her eyes. After hours of releasing emotions, she knew it was finally time to let go and move on. Once again, she regained her worn down structure and took one last penetrating look at the moon.

"If you can hear me now, Codan, I love you, I sincerely do."

With that she strides back down a society and above all the pain-staking reality.
