Never End Dream

Part 4. Curiosity

After i take a quick look at Niel. I continue to get my bag at the classroom. I didn't bother looking at him again.

The practice starts and i can see him through the window from a far. He looks so graceful. Without realizing. My team member Jeen already hit and got an home run.

By the way. I play as the Ace and Pitcher on my team. I can do almost all of the tricks but i'm special with my Fast ball. I can throw at least 105 miles per hour and it's not my limit yet. During practice i only throw with the speed of 80 miles per hour because our team leader asked me to slow the ball down so the new recruiting members can practice well.

After Practice. I changed my clothes into my work clothes then i waved my team members "good bye". I rush as fast as i can to go there in time because this day is quite busy because tomorrow will be.. Valentines Day, to be honest. I hate Valentines Day, as i walk through any part of the city. I would see couples making out or flirting, I'm not jealous i'm just a little bothered by it. I got to the store and just as i expected, there's so many people lined up. I started to help my co-workers with selling the flowers.

After such a long time, finally. The line already ended, 10 minutes left before my shift is over. There's a costumer coming. I was about to greet the costumer. I noticed it's Niel again, “W-Welcome, W-Why are you here?” i asked out of curiosity. “..To buy flowers..?” he said. I was a little embarrassed but i manage to act it out and play it cool. My co-worker helped him to pick up flowers that he's looking for.

He picked Ajisai (Hydrangea). Which is actually a beautiful gift. I also love the meaning behind the Flower Ajisai. It means "Apologies" and "Gratitude". I kinda want to have a small talk with him and asked him if who is the lucky girl he will give it to. I was hoping that he'll say that it's for his girlfriend or crush. But he looked down and said “This is for my sister”. After he said that. I now know that he's just a sweet and caring person. Because almost everyone who bought flowers in our store are guys who will buy flowers as a gift to their girlfriend.

But Niel is different. After he bought it, he immediately left the shop. And so my shift is over. After i change clothes i noticed he was already gone and nowhere to be find. I began to walk and i saw the same girl from far away again. I put my bag on the bench and begin to chase after the girl.. And once again, i fall.

I wake up in our house and i said “I knew this would happen again”. I feel like i'm on an endless loop of dreaming about chasing after her then next thing i knew i collapsed and got into the house with the help of Maya, my co-worker. My mom who's busy today. I looked at the calendar and arghhh... It's valentines day.

I settled things up and leaved the key at the door way and leaved. While walking i noticed that a lot of people are buying flowers at the shop again. I see Maya and my other Co-workers Skie and Vinn busy with work.

I got to my locker and got 4 letters telling me they like me and such. And meeting them in different location such as the Garden Area, the Roof Top, the Outside school area and someone writted to meet them in class 2-C. (i'm in class 2-A). Just like last year. I got a pile of offerings and 20 letters. I have no time for a relationship.
