Prologue: Home

3rd Person POV:
(L/N), (Y/N) (L/N). A child no older than the age of five lost her parents. The cause of their death is unknown. All that was left there was a note.

She was far too young to understand the danger she was in.

Smart, gifted, cute.

The perfect five year old child, the perfect prey.

A sweet young girl, just as her mother was at that age. Her bright little smile brought joy to her parents eyes despite her cruel fate. Born quirkless among the twenty percent without power.

Her shoulder length hair framed her face.

There she sat, in the police station waiting, tears in her eyes.

Hearing the death of your parents at such an age would surely put one so innocent in shock.

The girl started sobbing, her wails filled the building. The staff attempted to calm her without any success.

Then came in a skeleton of a man; one with blonde hair and blue eyes. He went by the name Toshinori Yagi, but was more commonly known as All Might.

Toshinori approached the devastated child with great care. Despite being a hero, he hadn't a clue what to do. The girl was in a fragile state, anyone could see that.

He then thought back to what his master had taught him.

He placed a hand on (Y/N)'s shoulder.

The girl looked up in shock and panic, her (e/c) eyes wide with fear.

She stared at the scrawny man in front of her. His blue eyes stared into her own coloured orbs.

"It's alright you know why?"

The (h/c) girl shook her head.

"Because I am here."

A tiny smile crept onto her face. She decided she liked this man. He reminded her of All Might, her favourite hero.

Toshinori smiled at the girl. "Tell me, what is your dream child."

(Y/N)'s eyes shone for a second. "Easy! To be the world's first quirkless hero!"

Toshinori hesitated at this. He was aware that the two heroes who had died had a quirkless daughter, but he never would have imagined that she was so determined to become a hero without a quirk.

"That's great!" he replied, faking a smile.

If only it wasn't such a dangerous dream...

"My name's (Y/N)! What's your name Mister?" the five year old asked.

"Y-Yagi, Toshinori Yagi," the skeleton said slightly shocked at the girl's energy.

"Why are you here Mister?"

She's still calling me that?

Toshinori sweatdropped and said, "I'm here to take care of you until we can contact a family member."

The girl just blinked. "But, you're a stranger. I can't go somewhere with a stranger."

Now it was Toshinori's turn to blink. "Well, I knew your parents and I also know All Mig-"

"CAN I MEET HIM?!"

"Um...sure."

"YAY!"

The young girl started to jump around the room.

Toshinori panicked, unsure of how to handle the situation.

"I'm glad you're feeling better but please calm down!"

After a few more minutes, Toshinori had successfully calmed the little handful known as (Y/N).

The blonde offered the quirkless child his hand, "Would you like to see where I live?"

The little girl nodded eagerly.

Toshinori smiled. "Then let's go home."
