Kayla.
After getting out of my feelings, I decided to take a walk. I asked Kayden if he wanted to come and he said he wanted to sleep. I told him not to open the door for anyone.
I grabbed my earphones and phone. I kissed Kayden's forehead, went outside, closed the door, and locked it.
I started walking when I heard someone.
"Aye shawty!" Someone yelled from their car.
I turned around and saw a nigga that tries to talk to me every time I get out of the house. I always ignored him though.
"Gotta go." I mumbled, put my earphones in.
I went on Pandora and put it on a Kendrick Lamar station.
He can have my kids.
I'm highkey in love with him. Posters flood the walls at the house. I try to go to every concert. I'm probably the first to listen to every song he's made. I'm not a "creep" though. That shit's crazy.
Hear this. Buy the world fuckin' came on.
I was cheesing while I walked into the park. I walked to a swing, sat, and started swinging.
I am the master of swinging. I can swing in a circle and have my phone in my hand.
Sike nah.
I began to rap after the chorus.
"Nigga do that shit, nigga done that shit,
Nigga any problem bet I overcome that shit,
Twenty gold bottles I'm a drink on that shit,
Twenty songs that I'm on number one that shit.
My name gon' ring and my team gon' win,
I shot a nigga once and I'd do that shit again.
Put your hands on a Bible stealing candy at a store,
To a black homicidal it's the same damn sin."
I heard someone rapping with me.
"Drop down, give me three points hoe,
K. Dot, give it to it how you want hoe.
I'ma show you what this West side about,
I'ma pull up in a 'Rari at your grandmama's house, hey now.
She got a nigga name in her mouth, hey now.
T-O to M-O to ammo, I mean.
My MO is zero, see commas, I promise,
Now go tell your mama this dick ain't for free.
This dick ain't, this dick ain't,
This dick ain't, this dick ain't,
This dick ain't for free!
Touch that, I need cash back, transaction.
I bust back in a all black Grand National.
Hoodrats in the project if you ask 'em.
They wanna buy the world, 10 racks on they taxes.
Holiday cheers, tell 'em get checks with a bottle to the neck,
Nigga get it how you live."
I looked around to see who was rapping until our eyes connected.
He walked up to me. He couldn't say anything. Neither could I.
He carefully picked my hand up and kissed it softly. After that, he looked at me deeply, then walked away.
I watched him as he left. "The fuck?"
I was left confused on that swing.
His eyes just kept repeating in my memory.
I don't recall seeing him anywhere.
But hey. His eyes were beautiful as ever.
I hopped off of the swing and started walking home in wonder.
Questions kept flowing in my mind until I reached the house.
I unlocked the door, closed it, and went upstairs to check on Kayden.
I opened his door and smiled at the fact he was sound asleep. I kissed his forehead and left his room. I closed his door and went downstairs to find something to eat.
I settled on Oreos and milk. I started doing my happy dance and make my way to the tv room.
I unwrapped my Oreos and turned on the tv. I put it on BET because I remembered Waist Deep was on.
That movie never gets old. Always made me cry. I dunked my Oreo in the milk and waited for it to soften.
As it was softening, the doorbell rang.
"Fuuuuuuuck." I thought to myself.
I took the Oreo out of the milk, took a bite, and made my way to the door.
I opened it, and slammed it shut so fast.
"Oh my God." I thought.
