AIKO'S POV
After meeting Nobunaga and the other warlords, I got Akira back to her room so she can get some rest. I tucked Akira into bed and I asked her.
"Onee-chan, do you need anything else before I go?"
"No, I'll be fine...I just need to sleep it off for a while...I'll get a drink of water after I wake up...in the meantime...you go and study hard with Ieyasu."
"OK, have a nice rest."
I said before patting her head and leaving the room. Masamune and Ieyasu stood outside of her room after I left and then Masamune asked me.
"How is she?"
"Absolutely exhausted, I've never Onee-chan like this before."
"What do you mean?"
"Well, before we came here, Onee-chan wasn't this tired before, she would cough badly, spit out blood and have a few fevers every now and then, but, I don't remember her running out of energy like this before."
Ieyasu thought for a moment and he said to me.
"If I had to guess, I'd say it's probably the high fevers you mentioned before, I wouldn't worry too much but, we better keep a sharp eye on her, just in case."
"All right."
"Anyway, come with me, I'll give you some books to study."
"OK."
I said with a smile as I followed after him.
AKIRA'S POV
I heard Aiko and the other two leave and I then stared at the ceiling for a few seconds before turning over onto my side.
'My illness is getting worse...I wonder if it's because of my pneumonia?'
I coughed a little and I wheezed a little before falling into a deep sleep.
DREAMWORLD...
I carried a tray of food along with Dad's medicine. I used my foot to open the door and I looked at him.
"Otu-san?"
Dad opened his eyes and he sat up in bed.
"Oh, hi Akira *cough! cough!*"
I put down the tray and I gave him a hankie to wipe away the blood from his mouth.
"I'm sorry you have to do this."
"Don't apologise, someone needs to look after you and Aiko."
"Akira, you've got to be careful when you're around me...TB can be contagious if you're not careful."
"I know, I only wish you'd get better already."
Dad smiled at me weakly and he then said to me.
"Listen to me Akira, whether you end up catching this illness or not and if I don't get better, I want you to look after your sister, make sure she does well in school and make sure she gets a job in medicine, she's always been the type to look after people."
"I will."
A YEAR LATER...
After dad passed away, it was me and Aiko for a while until I started to feel different than usual. I coughed badly again and then Aiko said to me.
"Onee-chan, what's wrong?"
"I don't know...I've been feeling this since yesterday, maybe it's a cold I'm catching."
