I Hope We Can Make Her Final Moments Happy As Possible

AKIRA'S POV

"*Cough! cough!*"

It was in the middle of the night and I was outside throwing up again. Aiko held back my hair and my fringe while I threw up and she said to me.

"Feel better yet? is it out of your system?"

"...Ugh...I think so...sorry for waking you up in the middle of the night like this."

"Not at all, I couldn't sleep anyway, Ieyasu gave some books to study and I've been kept awake for a few hours."

"Oy...what have I told you about...studying during late nights? *Cough! cough!*"

"I can't help it, once I get started I won't stop."

"Point taken, *gag!*"

I threw up again and Aiko rubbed my back a few times. Just then, Hideyoshi came into the room and he asked us.

"What on earth is going on here? I can hear you from the hallway."

"Sorry about this Hideyoshi, Onee-chan is not feeling great at the moment."

I rubbed my stomach and I wiped my mouth.

"I think it's gone now...I think it's out of my system now."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes."

I sat down on the futon and then Aiko gave me a drink of water.

"Here drink this."

"Arigato."

I gulped down the water and then Hideyoshi said to me.

"Sheesh, Aiko wasn't kidding when you weren't feeling well but, I didn't think it was this bad."

"Well...that's what happens when you catch TB, you cough out blood, lose weight, throwing up unexpectedly and then there's the wheezing."

Hideyoshi scooted away from me and then Aiko said to him.

"Don't worry, the disease isn't that contagious unless it's under control, Onee-chan was taking medicine the doctor prescribed to her before we came here."

"I see...but you can't be too careful."

I glared at Hideyoshi and I said to him.

"Gee thanks for the sympathy, NOT! *Cough! cough!*"

"Onee-chan take it easy, you already threw up don't let it happen again."

"Yeah, yeah, whatever, anyway...I'm going back to sleep."

I got under the covers and I fell asleep immediately.

AIKO'S POV

"Zzz....zzz....zzz...."

Hideyoshi and I were surprised when Akira fell asleep really quickly. 

"Wow, she fell asleep really quickly."

"Onee-chan has been having it rough since she got sick, I've been worrying about her constantly since she got the lung disease."

I covered Akira's sleeping form and I listened to her wheezing a little as she slept.

"Before we came here, I sometimes hear her struggle to breathe and she's been having sleepless nights since she kept spitting out blood or throwing up a few times."

"Has it gotten that bad?"

"I'm afraid so, Onee-chan did tell me she saw the doctor a few weeks ago before we came here but, I don't know, it's like she's hiding something from me but, I don't know what it is."
