Chapter 4

Ella's POV

"Aw he has to be the cutest thing ever!" I say to Adam and he laughs

"Yeah he is pretty cool"

"Stop trying to act all macho" I hit his chest and I crouch down to the adorable German Shepard

"We're definitely getting him" I say petting the dog

"Let's name him Rebel" I say randomly

"Where did that come from?" Adam says leaning against the counter

"I don't know he looks like a rebel?" I say like a question

"Ok I have all the paperwork, Deatons glad that he's getting adopted he wanted him to get a good home and not get sent to the animal shelter" Scott says coming into the room with some papers and I stand up to sign them

"What's wrong with the animal shelter?" I ask

"Well if they have the animal for too long without it getting adopted they usually send it away to another town or kill it"

"My god people these days" Adam says and I sign the places that need my signature and I give Scott some money

"Thanks he is now your dog Ella" Scott smiles and I smile back and I go over to the dog and pick up which I can do since he's still a puppy

"Thank you Scott"

"You welcome and oh he's had all his shots and everything and if you have any medical problems with him bring him here" he says and I thank him once again and we walk out

"Aw hi there little Rebel you are just the cutest thing in the world!" I coo and he nips my finger a little

"Aw and he's in his teething stage Adam!" I say and Adam groans

"I hate when dogs are in their teething stages because they bite everything" he says walking to the car

"Oh my goodness he's adorable!" I hear someone say and I see Allison and Lydia walking towards us and I turn and smile at them

"Yeah he is I named him Rebel" I say and they start petting him

"He's really cute" Lydia says

"We can take you to the store to get him stuff if you'd like then we can hang out afterwards" Alison says and I look at Adam at he waves his hand for me to go

"Go have fun just don't be home to late" he says and he gets in his car and drives off

"Ok c'mon the store surprisingly have a lot of stuff for dogs let's go" Alison says and we get in her car and we head to the store

"He chipped my nail!" Lydia yells and me and Alison laugh

"He's in his teething stages Lydia" I say laughing

"Whatever" she huffs and lays down on her bed and Rebel jumps on the bed

"He's still cute though" she says turning in her side and pets him

"He's going to get huge though" Alison says

"Yeah I'm not worrying though" I say and I sit on Lydia's bed and my phone starts ringing and I pick it up and answer

"Hello?"

"Hey El" I hear Adam say and I groan

"What did you mess up now" I say and he laughs

"No I just got a call for someone that will be living with us from now on" he says and can I say I'm so confused

"Who? What?" I say
