Chapter 1

Ella's POV

I open my eyes to the morning sun shinning into my room. I sit up looking around my new room. I'm going to have to get used to this new house. I hear pans clinging together from down stairs. Must me Adam. I get out of bed put my hair up in a quick bun and put on some soft slippers and I walk slowly out of my room and downstairs.

"Morning sunshine" My brother Adam says putting bacon on the grittle

"Morning" I say yawning

"You liking your new room?" he asks flipping a pancake

"Yeah it's much bigger than my old one I like it and this entire house in more modern then our old one" I say thinking of our old house

"Well we both start school tomorrow" he takes two plates out of the cabinet

"And yet I still haven't unpacked everything in my room" I groan thinking about having to unpack everything

"Well lil sis I have a feeling this is going to be a good year for us" he comes around the counter over to me and puts his arm around my shoulders

"Easy for you to say you make friends easily" I stand up and walk around counter

"Ella no worries ok we'll both make friends I'm sure of it" he leans against the counter

"Oh and I heard they have lacrosse here you can try out!" I look at him

"Adam it's boys lacrosse they don't have girls lacrosse"

"Well your badass at lacrosse so no doubt you'd make the boys team" I shake my head turning the bacon over

"You know I'm not good at talking to boys so that's out" he huffs

"Well I'm a boy and your talking to me!" he says going over and flipping a pancake

"Your different! You my brother I've been with you since I was born!"

"Ella just try this year ok I want this place to work I want it to be our new home" he looks at me

"We're not moving again and I promise I'll try to make some friends" I grab a piece of bacon and I eat it

"Hey no eating the food yet!" He screams giving me a noogie

"So what are we doing today" I get out of his grip and fix my hair

"Well we have all of our school stuff together so how about we just chill here today?" I start jumping up and down

"Yes we can have a American Horror Story marathon" he says putting all the pancakes on a plate

"YAY I'm going to get it set up you finish the cooking!" I run into the living room and turn the tv on and I go to netflix

"Hurry up Adam it's about to start!" He comes running in with two plates of food

"Are we watching where we last left off? I nod my head and stuff a pancake in my mouth

"Slow down there your going to choke and die" he says laughing

"NO DON'T GO IN THAT ROOM!" I scream at the tv

"She's going to go in there" Adam says

"NO! Now your going to watch you husband get stabbed to death?! your so stupid lady!" I throw a piece of pancake at the tv and Adam laughs

"You get so into this sho-" he gets cut off when the lady screams

"She got some lungs there" he says stuffing a piece of bacon in his mouth
