Caspar the not so friendly ghost

On monday andy sat in algebra doodling and only paying slight attention to the lesson. She was ahead on this lesson anyway. It was the one lesson she actually understood. She wasnt really drawing anything. She was just passing time. The music in her ear droning out the people around her.

She turned it up slightly and continued drawing. She didnt notice the teacher aide walk in. She didnt notice the teacher aide telling the teacher something. She didnt notice the teacher gasping in shock. She did notice the teacher walking up to her and telling her she is needed in the office. Immediately. She grabbed all her stuff and walked to the office. She tried to think what she could be in trouble could be. When she got to the office the receptionist gave her a solemn look and told her to go back to the principals office. 

"Mr.Pierce, you wanted to see me?"

"Ah yes. Hello andy. I will get straight to the point. We received a call from the local hospital. Your parents were involved in a car accident. They are severely wounded."

Andy froze. "sir?"

"I am afraid it is true. We have called your aunt to come you up. You shall stay with her."

"What about my brother? Andrew?" 

"He was in the car at the time. They were bringing him to school. He fortunately was not injured"

Andy was speechless as she just walked out of the office and went to wait outside for her aunt. She was shell shocked. She knew her parents did not approve of her, but in their own way they loved her. And in her own way she loved them. The doors to the school burst open and Fallon came out. She looked around and saw Andy waiting. She ran up to her and wrapped her arms around her.

"I just heard. Im so sorry Andy" andy just shrugged. She felt as if she couldnt speak. Fallon held her until her Aunt got there to pick her up. The girls kissed and parted ways.

A couple days later Andy was laying face down on the couch while andrew was watching tv on the couch next to her. They were broken out of their stupor by the doorbell ringing. Their aunts heavy footsteps reverberated through the house as she walked to the door. She was talking to someone and a minute later 2 police officers walked into the living room where they were. Andy was in a large hoodie and some shorts hidden underneath. Her hair was in a messy ballet bun. Her brother had on some sweats and was shirtless. They both jumped up.

"Andrew go put on a shirt." their aunt said

"No no thats fine. We wont take up much of your time ma'am" One of the officers said. "May we sit somewhere?"

"in here is fine. Ange turn off the TV." Andy got up and grabbed the remote and turned off the movie Andrew was watching. "Now how may we help you?"

"We are here in regards to the accident"

"Oh" was all andrew said.

"In regards to what about it?"

"Well we did a check of the car and found the break wires were corroded. Now it could have just happened over time. Or someone say, caspar the ghost, tampered with them. It could be either. But we just wanted to know if your parents had a burning feud with anyone?"

Andrew was the first to speak. "Not that we know of"

"Ange?" their aunt said 

"No. Not that i know of. I mean people disliked them because of certain.... view points on things. But not to this point."

"Mrs.Clara?" one of the officers said.

"No no no i dont know anyone"

"Okay. Thank you all for your time. We can show ourselves to the door." they got up and left the house.

"Now kids," their aunt said, "Dont think about what that officer said. Your dad took very little care of that car. It was due for new brakes" she shook her head then went back to her room to work on kniting.

Andy sighed and rembered the name the officer said, Casper the ghost. More like casper the not so friendly ghost.
