I sigh at the shot someone sent over.

"Excuse me... but who sent this?" I ask the bartender.

He points to a raven-haired guy a few seats away.

"Thank you."

I continue to stare at the drink as the man sits next to me.

Life has been terrible ever since I kicked Grant out of my apartment.

I've been really lonely and depressed.

My family has tried to cheer me up but...

I dunno.

Maybe I'm the problem.

"Come here often?" The guy asks.

I can practically taste the alcohol in his breath.

"Yeah."

"What's your name? I'm Jack."

"Dipper."

Jack rubs my thigh with his hands.

I swat them away.

"Don't touch me," I say plainly.

"Come on... You're adorable and obviously single, and I'm an attractive man with a big, fat d*ck. We should have some fun," the drunk grins, rubbing me again.

"Back off," a powerful voice says behind me.

It sends chills up my spine.

"He's my pet for the night," a blonde says, wrapping his strong arms around my waist.

The drunk's face pales.

"S-Sorry B-Boss! I-I didn't know! I swear!" He stammers.

"Good. Now go," the blonde says.

The perv runs out of the club.

"Thank you," I say to my hero.

"No problem," he says as he walks away.

"Wait."

He turns around.

"What's your name?" I ask.

The blonde freezes.

"...Bill."

"Why did you help me?" I ask him.

He smiles as he sits next to me.

"That man is one of many disappointments in my... club."

"O-Oh..."

"Are you employed?" He asks out of the blue.

"W-Well..."

"You work for me now. Come on," he says, leading me to a secret door.

He types in a code and the door pops open.

He leads me to a VIP section of the club.

"You owe me," Bill whispers.

"I'm not sleeping with you, if that's what you're thinking," I protest.

"Of course not. I'm not a rapist... just the leader of a cartel," he grins.
