The car speeds up quickly, heading back towards home. But we aren't going back to the dorm, we are going back to Beacon Hills.
"Next left-"
" I know where I'm going, Scott," Mitch yells. Ever since BHHS (Beacon Hills High School) graduation, Scott and Mitch's friendship has been hanging on a tight thread. I've heard so many biased stories about Scott that I don't even know if they are true or not.
"Mitch, calm down." I rub his shoulder to make his breathing steady. "Scott is not the enemy here." Mitch takes his eyes off the road and shoots me a small grin. Scott finally speaks up again.
"Mitch, we can talk about everything if you need to." His voice cracks and it sounds like he's on the verge of tears. The only thing I've heard about Scott that was non-biased, which was from a kid a school named Isaac who used to go to BHHS, was that he cares for everyone.
I never really figured out what happened to them. When I went to BHHS and became a werewolf, I knew there was an alpha pack but I always hung by myself. I wonder if I became friends with them then, I would still be dating Mitch now.
"We're here." Mitch pulls into a driveway of a small one story house. I recognize this as Mitch's house from pictures. "Dad!" Mitch puts the car in park and runs towards the front door, where Mr. Stilinski is standing. Scott and I exit the rusty jeep
"Didn't expect you, son." They embrace eachother quickly and give eachother small pats on the back. "And I see you brought friends. Hey Ariana, hey Scott. Glad y'all could be here to help."
"I needed backup. Beacon Hills is going downhill fast." Scott looks towards Mitch, who is now standing next to me. "Guess who's back." Mitch and I make eye contact. There could be infinite possibilities to that answer.
"Who, Scott? Tell us who." Mitch balls up his hands into fists.
"The Nogitsune."
